From Heartland Transformation Ministry Network
Re: The tragic death of Dr. George Tiller

The Lord calls us to love justice and show mercy, and this act of violence in taking the life of Dr. Tiller is a violation of both commands. Such hostility and loss of life should lead us all to confession, repentance, and prayers for healing of all that is broken in our hearts and in our relationships with one another.

We are praying for God's peace and comfort especially for Dr. Tiller's family and friends, the people of his church at Reformation Lutheran, and for our community. May the Lord forgive us and lead us all to be better than we have been in keeping with the Lord's command to "love your neighbor as yourself. "

It is our hope that we might all pray together at a gathering soon for the Lord's presence, mercy, and love, in order that His Light might shine through the darkness, and that He might arise with healing in His wings.

A Response to Heartland Transformations Press Release

A better title would be: The elephant in the living room, just ignore it.

When I first read this press release by Heartland Transformation (probably the largest evangelical ministers group in Wichita ) my heart broke.

This press release, by its deafening silence, is a complete betrayal of the ten's of thousands of innocent baby boys and girls incinerated at Kellogg (the busiest street in Wichita ) and Bleckly. Silence always, always, always... sides with the oppressor, never the oppressed.

This press release is a complete fulfillment of the Lord's Word, thus making it prophetic in Jeremiah 5:28 ... and (they) have grown fat and sleek.  Their evil deeds have no limit; they do not plead the case of the fatherless to win it...

This press release is designed to appease men and James. 4:4 states ... know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God?  Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

I wonder how many times Heartland Transformation has worked and coordinated, to get is pastors and members to issue and sign a statement declaring the need for "justice and mercy" for the babies??  Has there even been one?  Please forward me a copy.

One dies, thousands mourn, thousands die, no one mourns.

This isn't about justice and mercy; it is about appeasing the opinions of men.  An appeaser is one who feeds a crocodile, hoping it will eat him last. -Winston Churchill

Pastors and ministers of Wichita, do we have any idea how it will go for us on judgment day when we (each one of us) have to give an account of being the Pastors, ministers, gate keepers in the City of George Tiller??

Also, Reformation Lutheran does not need prayer for God's peace; they need repentance, for providing false spiritual sanctuary for a mass murder for 30 years.  For accepting, condoning, and venerating a man desperately in need of repentance. George Tiller is in hell today because he never repented and Reformation Lutheran is culpable in his damnation.

Heartland Transformation, you have fallen into the same spiritual candy gospel that Reformation Lutheran practices.  George Tiller was working as an usher the day he was killed!  Unbelievable!!

Heartland Transformation calls upon us to "Love our neighbor as yourself," I wonder if Heartland Transformation has ever had the courage to declare such a thing for the unborn?

Heartland Transformation has called a prayer meeting for the purpose that "He might arise with healing in His wings."  Utter nonsense.  Wichita does not need healing, we need repentance.

Question, if you were one of the little baby boys or girls, painfully executed and burned at Tillers mill, and you were in heaven and you read this Press Release by Heartland Transformation, what would your reaction be?

I call upon Heartland Transformation to issue a biblical PR and renounce this one.

I call upon Heartland Transformation to a public forum or if they prefer a debate to discuss what is the biblical role and responsibility of the Wichita church in connection to both abortion and Tiller.

But alas, doubtful anyone will respond as the holy huddles in our churches are so much safer.

True, we don't shoot abortionists or blow up abortion clinics, I do not know of one church in Wichita that teaches that, do you?  Not one.  So this slobbering all over ourselves to appease the world is deplorable.  We will never be pro-life and win the opinions of men.  Impossible (James 4:4, Galations 4:16, John 8:44-46).

The Wichita Eagle published responses by 15 different groups.  Heartland Transformation, your response was essentially equal to that of Planned Parenthood Federation of America!

I call upon Heartland Transformation to "plead the case of the fatherless to win it!"

About Operation Rescue/Operation Save America
Operation Rescue/Operation Save America unashamedly takes up the cause of preborn children in the name of Jesus Christ. We employ only biblical principles. The Bible is our foundation; the Cross of Christ is our strategy; the repentance of the Church of Jesus Christ is our ultimate goal. As the Church changes its heart toward unborn children, God Himself will hear from heaven, forgive our sin, and bring healing to our land.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the only answer to the abortion holocaust. It is upon our active repentance in the streets of our cities that the Gospel is visibly lived out. We become to the church, to our city, and to our nation living parables which rightly represent God's heart toward His helpless children.

There are no cheap political solutions to the holocaust presently ravaging our nation. Like slavery before it, abortion is preeminently a Gospel issue. The Cross of Christ is the only solution.
