In 1991 Wichita, Kansas had three abortion clinics. Today there is one. In 1991 Wesley Hospital provided residents to Central abortion mill in Wichita but, because of the faithful saints and the summer of mercy, by 1992 Wesley had stopped. They then had to rely on abortionists from out of town. The last few years they were reduced to being open one day every two weeks. One side walk councilor, Dixie Selenke has been faithful since 1991. Also, in 1991, Central abortion mill was the site of a 'Ministers/Pastoral Rescue' where over 80 ministers were arrested. This rescue was lead by Operation Rescue/Operation Save America's Flip Benham while he was pastoring in Dallas. He was released from jail at 10:30 pm Saturday, slept for two hours, then drove all night to make it to Dallas for his Sunday morning service. At least one child was saved at the Pastor's rescue that day and the mother testified at the Five Year Anniversary of the Summer of Mercy. It was possibly the largest ministerial act of ‘biblical obedience/civil disobedience' in America's history. In January of 2006 Rev. Rusty Thomas and his family led a 'Smash the pot' at this mill. The Central abortion mill can no longer pay their rent and today they are closed. All glory be to our Lord! Wichita now has only one mill left. The gates of hell can not prevail against His church (without walls, in the streets), crying aloud, Is. 58:1).
