Flip and leaders to go to Israel (October 31- November 14). Please pray! 

Flip and several Operation Rescue/Operation Save America leaders will be in Israel for the next two weeks (October 31 - November 14). We ask that you pray for them that God would open their hearts and minds to what He is up to in the nation where our Savior was born. God chose the tiny nation of Israel to be in the center of all the world's activity, "…so that all the peoples of the earth may know that the Lord is God and that there is no other." 1 Kings 8:60.

Calvin, Zwingly, Luther, Whitfield, Wesley, ad infinitum, could never have imagined that Israel (the physical nation Israel) would ever exist as an entity again. It was beyond the pale of human imagination. But God's ways are not our ways and in 1948, Israel was reinstated as a nation. Only God could have done something like this - only God!

They will spend several days on Mt. Carmel where Elijah called fire down from heaven and slaughtered the 450 prophets of Baal. He asked God's people one simple question, "How long will you waiver between two opinions?" 1 Kings 18:21. When He asked this question the people spoke nary a word. They kept silent because they did not want to alienate or offend any god that might have a say. Elijah forced the issue, "If the Lord is God, follow Him. If Baal is God, follow him." 1 Kings 18:21. You are going to have to choose. By the way, the name ELIJAH means, "the Lord is God."

We are in desperate need of an Elijah in America today. Enough already of those who tell us that Islam is a peaceful religion. It is not. It is a lie from the pit of hell! Enough already of those who tell us that homosexuality and Christianity go hand in hand. They do not. It is a lie from the pit of hell! Enough already of those who tell us abortion is a woman's right. It is not. It is a lie from the pit of hell!

We cannot waiver between two opinions and expect to have God's blessing upon our nation. God would have to deny Himself for this utterly absurd postulation to be true.
Pray that the guys will return with the fire of Almighty God in their hearts and that this fire will move into the hearts of many.

They will spend 5 days in Jerusalem - the city of David, where Christianity was birthed in the hearts of those who would follow hard after Jesus. God's temple moved from the physical Jerusalem into the hearts of those who call on the Name of Jesus. He lives in us. But our mission is still the same, "…so that all the peoples of the earth may know that the Lord is God and that there is no other." 1 Kings 8:60.

We are to confront our culture with the absolute fact that Jesus Christ is Lord and that apart from Him there is no other. Those who are traveling: Daniel Thompson, Bob Behn, Kevin Stanfield, Roger Beal, Frank Gill, David and Denise Lackey, Tom and Linda McGlade, Flip Benham. (David and Tom will be joining the guys later in the trip in Jerusalem).
