Regarding Charlotte's annual “Gay Pride” weekend approaching in May
April 25, 2005

It's getting close to Spring and the homosexual community is once again on the march, pushing its perverted agenda (a lie from the very bowels of hell) on America.  It all began with a “day of silence” observed in public schools across the country on April 13, 2005, legitimizing sodomy in all of its perverseness, and teaching – no, demanding our kids to speak kindly of it.  Ithaca College in New York bowed in sheepish acquiescence to the sodomite juggernaut, and renamed the month of April “ Gaypril” as it proudly flies the sodomite flag the entire month on campus.

All of us will be subject to public obscenity, nudity, and indecent exposure as the homosexual community takes over our public parks, recreation centers, theme parks, and swimming pools this summer.  Our children will not be allowed to use the public bathrooms because of the unspeakable things that might happen to them in there or the utterly perverted things they might see.  Our streets in major downtown metropolises will be filled with “Gay Pride” as sodomites parade their sin like Sodom from whence comes their name.  We are in the midst of a national travesty!

All of this, yet one dare not breathe a word in opposition to this heinous sin for fear of being looked upon as intolerant, homophobic, bigoted, judgmental, ad nauseam. 

Well, it's time to speak!  If we love those who are being led away to the slaughter, and if we love our children and our nation, we must bring Jesus back into the streets of our cities.  We must retake the land the devil has stolen.  It does not appear that our government is going to act until we Christians do.  Jesus is the only One who can truly set those in bondage to homosexual lust, free.  Homosexuality destroys those who participate in that behavior and it will destroy a nation that approves of it.

Mr. Mayor and members of the City Council

This is now our third appearance before this Council. We have come to you with many on one occasion, with over a hundred on another, and now with just one. We have apprised this Council of the lawlessness and perversity that will be unleashed upon our city during the weekend of May 6-8, 2005. 

We have given each of the Council members both eye-witness reports, and pictorial evidence, as to the debauchery that took place at last year's “Charlotte Pride” Event. The homosexual community's blatant disregard for anyone's rights but its own was astonishing. We have provided specific violations of the Charlotte City Code to the City District Attorney, to our Police Chief, to each of the Council members, and to you Mr. Mayor. 

We have asked that you deny “Charlotte Pride” a permit to once again parade its sin like Sodom in the form of a sexual orgy before the eyes of our children. We have asked specifically that you not violate Charlotte City Code Section 12.518 (regarding Adult Establishments) by allowing “Charlotte Pride” to meet in a public park located next to the First Baptist Church in Downtown Charlotte. You felt our pain, but you ignored our request. 

What utter disregard for our children, our parks, our churches, our city, our nation, and our God.

You each have been given a very clear choice, and you have chosen. 

It tells us in the Bible that, “Those who forsake the law praise the wicked, but those who keep the law resist them.” Proverbs 28:4. You have been clearly warned. You have been kindly beseeched. You have been repeatedly prodded. All to no avail! 

You have willfully chosen to fear man rather than God.
You have chosen political position over the unchanging principles of God's Word.
You had an opportunity to do something – but you chose to do nothing.
You have chosen the devil who comes to rob, kill, and destroy.
You have rejected Jesus Who has come that we might have life and have it abundantly.
You sacrificed our children's tomorrow for your today.
Yes, you have fattened yourselves at the expense of our children.

 You have said, “Our hands are tied!” I will remind this very forgetful Council that Christ's hands are not tied, nor are the hands of those who serve Him.
