RESCUE ROCHESTER
GODLY STRATEGY

(Amos 1:13 KJV) Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of the children of Ammon, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have ripped up the women with child of Gilead , that they might enlarge their border:

According to Ecclesiastes there is nothing new under the sun; and according to Hebrews, God is the same, yesterday, today and forever! This battle we are engaged in for the lives of unborn children is not new.  God is not surprised by it. This battle has been fought before. This battle has been won before. An excellent revelation of this fact is the book Third Time Around, by Dr. George Grant.

I am nearing the end of a three year study of the Old Testament through Matthew Henry. I have observed some common themes throughout the OT prophets. The first is that God is long suffering. The same message was delivered many times, saying the same things, over and over again. His preference was repentance and restoration, not judgment (although judgment was certain). The second is that the charges were always specific. There was no question what the offenses were. Lastly, there was always a way out. The charges of sin always came with a desired action to procure His mercy!

We are encouraged by God's longsuffering and mercy. We will continue to proclaim truth at the killing centers with one hand, and offer help and alternatives with the other. We will continue to press the Church to proclaim truth and join in intercession for the lost. We will continue to call persons of conscience to join us on the sidewalks, hoping to save lives and souls! Please join us.
