Israeli leader to step down as National Director of Pro-life Ministry in Israel
Our good friend in Israel , Marvin S. Kramer, is stepping down to decentralize pro-life activities in Israel . When we were in Israel with him last year, he opened our eyes to the real terrorism taking place in in that little nation. More babies are being killed in Israel per capita by abortion, than are being killed in Amereica. Islamic terrorists cannot hold a candle to the slaughter the Israelies are inflicting upon themselves. Their blinded eyes to the Gospel of Christ and the plight of the unborn are a sign and a judgment from God Himself that Israel is not yet ready to say, "Baruch haba ba shem Adonai" (Blessed is he who comes in the Name of the Lord). As you will read from Marvin's testimony, Israel is not yet ready to acknowledge her only Lord and Savior, Jesus. It brings to mind a section of Scripture: Jesus said, "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing. Look, your house is left to you desolate. For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, 'Blessed is he who comes in the Name of the Lord,'" Matt. 23:37 -39. Until Israel comes to an end of herself, she will never acknowledge the only one who can save her - Jesus Christ! Her blinded eyes and stopped ears cannot perceive or hear the only truth that can rescue her. When we were in Israel we saw the desolate state of her affairs. No tourism, empty hotels, and streets - death lingered around every corner. Terrorism filled hearts manifesting itself in the dead eyes of her people. The secular Jew hates the Orthodox Jew. The Orthodox looks down his nose at the secular. And both hate, absolutely hate, those who would dare bring the Gospel of Christ to the streets in Israel . They are not ready yet to cry out to Jesus, " Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord." Therefore they remain blind to the only One who can bring them true healing and peace. Marvin Kramer and his wife have faithfully carried this message into the streets of Israel and to the abortion mills there. For this reason they have suffered much. But blessed are they for they have eyes that see and ears that hear. Yes, " Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord!" God bless you Marvin Kramer! You have run the race of faith well as National Director of Be'ad Chaim. You have other races to run and, prayerfully, our courses will parallel once again. Flip Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance. It is the Lord Messiah Whom you serve. (Colossians 3:23-24) Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord. (1 Corinthians 15:58) As we draw closer to the end of the year, there is a natural tendency to reflect upon what has taken place and look forward to what we hope will take place. At the end of December, I will complete 4 years as the National Administrator of Be'ad Chaim. During this time, we wept with those who wept, mourned with those who mourned and rejoiced with those who rejoiced. Our offices had been vandalized several times and some of our workers and volunteers were assaulted verbally as well as physically. We have been accused by anti-missionary groups of being a front for evangelism and our counselors received harassing and threatening phone-calls from persons who refused to identify themselves. But, there have been a multitude of joys and blessings as well. All of our counselors were used of the Lord to save the pre-born from being slaughtered through various methods of abortion. Some children were carried to term and given over for adoption, while others who were supposed to be adopted remained with the mother, who refused to let the child go after holding the baby in her arms. We were invited to circumcisions of male children and even arranged and paid for them when the mothers were not financially able to do so. We were invited to marriages and were notified of additional children being born to those couples who experienced the blessings of having made decisions for life. As we look back over these years, we can say that a lot has been accomplished, which we pray will have made an impact for eternity. It is easy to get caught up with the doing and forget the One for Whom it is being done. We can become people of an organization, rather than be the people of the Lord. We can look to an employer who pays our salary, rather than consider that it is the Lord Who provides him the means to do so. We need to have an eternal perspective, rather than a temporal one. This will encourage us to put Him first and seek ways to serve and honor Him, looking forward to His words: "Well done, My good and faithful servant". With the New Year right around the corner, we would appreciate your prayers regarding the future of the Pro-Life work in Israel . At the recent Annual General Meeting of Be'ad Chaim, which was held on Friday, December 12, it was decided, among other things, to accept the recommendation of the Board to de-centralize the work. This means that after December 31, there will no longer be a full-time National Administrator for Be'ad Chaim and the responsibility for the different centers will be entrusted to regional coordinators, at least for the time being. Please pray with us, that the work of saving the lives of innocent children in their mothers' wombs will continue and that God will open up new opportunities to carry out His will in this regard for His eternal glory. We know that God has good plans for us, so that we can look forward to the future with hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Certainly, no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly (Psalm 84:11). I am taking this opportunity to publicly thank my secretary, Sophia, and Sharon, our counselor in Jerusalem , for their tireless efforts and support. My thanks and appreciation also goes to all of the dear sisters in the Lord, who faithfully joined us each week in Jerusalem and fervently petitioned before The Throne of Grace. This will probably be my last general e-mail to you as National Administrator of Be'ad Chaim. I have not met most of you personally, but I am, nevertheless, happy to have made your acquaintance through our correspondence. Although I am leaving Be'ad Chaim at the end of December, I am not leaving the pro-life work, with which my wife, Orit, and I have been involved for many years. I would like to keep in touch with you and inform you, from time to time, of different matters for prayer and praise. If you would be interested in receiving periodic communications in this regard, please let me know and I will be sure to inform you accordingly. Until the end of the year, I can be contacted through Be'ad Chaim and thereafter, at: msklaw@netvision.net.il May the joy of the Lord be with you during this holiday season and always. May He grant you and yours good health and encourage you to press on as light and salt. May He bless all of your endeavors and enable you to be effective in every good work for His honor and glory. With many blessings,
