A Nation Reaps What It Has Sown
There is no difference in the babies other than place of residence at the time of their murder and residence of their killers. Perhaps you are like most people are horrified at such distressing news. It is hard to imagine what person would not be repulsed upon hearing of this 11-month old baby girl's fate at Dena Schlosser, 35, her mother's hand. The original AP wire story included the following exchange between 911 operators and this poor mother. Since then the pro-abortion media has conveniently left out these facts.
However repulsive we may feel toward this heinous act not everyone has earned the right to be shocked, sickened, angry or sad over this baby girl. Unless we are equally shocked, sickened, angry and sad grieved for the more than 3,000 baby boys and girls that will have their arms, legs and heads torn off each day behind gilded doors of our local abortion clinic, we have no right to even speak of these victims in Plano. Yes, this poor mother is no doubt deeply hurt and in torment now as reality sinks in and an evil spirit that no doubt drove her to this now mocks her. There is no justification for murder and the innocent blood of her daughter cries out to God. Just thinking of 3,000 babies ripped apart each day and every day over 31 years in America alone is sobering compared to the lower Nazi Holocaust numbers. Today, 3,000 mothers will walk into an abortion clinic and pay an abortionist several hundred to several thousand dollars to murder their baby. Why does this not fill our hearts and minds with more grief, shock and a call to punish acts of murder and doing what we can to put a stop to it? Schlosser is charged with capitol murder while abortion is an industry of murder today that rakes in millions of dollars. This injustice ought not to be so. This story in Plano will be followed closely by the media while the story of 3,000 murders of equally horrific proportions goes untold except by a tiny remnant of the Church. Words alone fail to convey the gravity of such brutal murders inflicted on so many unborn children. Words failed in Nazi Germany, words fail in human rights abuses such as Christian martyrs & other tortured innocents and words fail in war coverage. Likewise when one utters the word abortion, very few have even a mental clue of the violent taking of another human life. Christians moved by compassion to end this senseless bloodshed often use graphic photos. It is one of the most effective tools causing mothers to choose life as they drive by or enter the abortion clinics. They are effective elsewhere also. Ironically many people view these photos and are outraged not at the merciless slaughter of a baby but outraged at the one holding the sign with the photo of reality. Mayor Ron Selph of Granite City, IL this week stated, " To me the signs are the same as pornography," Selph said. "These people [Christians holding graphic signs] threaten our parades and make the city look bad." - November 19, 2004 the Suburban Journals. Nevertheless babies are saved at that city's Hope(less) abortion clinic by those very signs. Dare we ask the AP, Dallas Morning News, Houston Chronicle and countless other media outlets how many complaints they received over this story in Plano, TX? A jury will be forced to view photos of this baby girl's mutilated body so don't tell me it's the pictures that need not be seen. Children hear it described on the news No matter how hard we try to push it out of our mind, the daily violent murder of 3,000 babies in the womb are seeds sown that we are reaping in our streets, workplaces, schools and homes. Dena Schlosser of Plano probably does not have a clue as to why she chopped off her baby's arms. Most mothers entering abortion clinics on the other hand offer several reasons. Like Schlosser, some of these too pay to have their baby dismembered and disposed of while sporting Christian bumper stickers and quoting Scripture better than some pastors. “Don't judge me. My God will forgive.” Let's ask a quick question. How many of you feel this way toward Dena Schlosser after reading the shocking account of her listening to the Christian hymn He Touched Me as she calmly described what she did to her baby? No, unless we reach the point where our hearts are broken and our senses shocked into whatever peaceful action we are capable of taking over the innocent babies represented in the graphic photos on signs then we have no moral right to be upset or shocked at one 11-month old baby girl's grisly murder. Since abortion was decriminalized in 1973 child abuse has skyrocketed and the number one cause of death in babies aged 1 day - 1 year is now homicide at the hand of the parents. The violent bloodshed in the womb cannot be separated from the violent bloodshed outside the womb in our streets. We cannot look the other way and avoid this bitter harvest. “There is only cursing, lying and murder, stealing and adultery; they break all bounds, and bloodshed follows bloodshed. Because of this the land mourns…” Hosea 4:2-3a God's immutable law of sowing and reaping is demonstrated in our sight daily. With a 31-year war on the unborn we've reaped a war on terror, a war in Iraq and recurring tragedies like this horror in Plano, TX this week. God's judgment is upon us now and we deserve more soon to come absent repentance. There is no difference between Baby Malachi's 45 million brethren murdered in the womb and the murder of the Schlosser baby and others. There is hope for mercy if we avail ourselves of God's precious gift of repentance beginning with the Church. Acts 11:18. Abortion will end only when the Church says so and not a second sooner. “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.” Galatians 6:7-8 My prayer and hope is that each of us would possess the complete moral and spiritual authority to grieve for all the innocents.
