How is it that a city like Dallas, Texas, surrounded by some of the largest and greatest evangelical churches in the country, can be owned, lock, stock, and barrel by the radical homosexual agenda? That's right! In the very buckle of the Bible belt, homosexuality rules the roost when it comes to politics in the city of Dallas.

The mayor of the city, Laura Miller, rode in her horse drawn chariot down the streets of Dallas in the "Gay Pride" parade. Flying proudly on the back of her chariot was an American flag, but it wasn't red, white, and blue. It was the colors of the rainbow. If the desecration of the American flag were not enough, six of her city council members joined in this most perverse festivity. It all took place on a Sunday afternoon in September.

Yes, they were parading their sin like Sodom in the gates of a city whose elders are asleep at the wheel. In the home of Chuck Swindoll, Tony Evans, T.D. Jakes, Jack Graham, Jay Don George, Probe Ministries, Josh McDowell Ministries, Dallas Theological Seminary, Criswell Bible Institute, and a host of others, the homosexual community is clearly in charge. The salt has lost its saltiness!

The bride of Christ has been bribed by the devil himself. The deal goes something like this, "I will let you grow a large church and win as many people to Christ as you possibly can, just leave this nation and the culture to me. Don't do anything about abortion except vote. Don't do anything about homosexuality except preach against it in the pulpit. Don't say that Jesus is the only way to heaven." Such a deal! We can grow great churches so long as we don't hinder the devil's work of robbing, killing, and destroying.

The wolf is slaughtering the lambs under the watchful care of the Church of Jesus Christ. Abortion mills kill children unhindered by the praying, praising, and proclaiming Church. Homosexuality, infidelity, and pornography are stealing the hearts of men leaving them masses of quivering flesh, unable to stand in the day of adversity. The syncretism of religions hangs the crystal clear proclamation of the Gospel of Christ on the door of bigoted judgmentalism. Yes, the bribe has been accepted and all hell is breaking loose!

Below, a report from two young Christian men who stood at the gates to turn back the battle! They did not flinch in the day of adversity and neither did almost fifty other gentle warriors for Jesus.

Christian Humility

Over fifty saints brought the Gospel of Christ to the streets of Dallas during the annual "gay pride" parade this past Sunday afternoon. It was an abomination to say the least! Yet it was only a reflection of the Church's failure to speak the gospel into the twentieth century that could produce what we saw, and what is going on in other cities in America.

As we watched this parade of wickedness, we were presented with such a vast display of deceptive worldly philosophies all centered around one thing (and this one thing more than homosexuality), PRIDE. These philosophies then centered around six things God hates (Proverbs 6:16-19).

The first, homosexuality, could not be possible without pride (Romans 1:18-32). Proverbs 6:16 says, "These six things the Lord hates…"

"A proud look…" Oh the many proud looks we received. They could not blush over their sin (Jeremiah 6:15).

The Cathedral of Hope, (a false cult that calls itself a church, proclaiming that Christianity and homosexuality go hand in hand), could not resist parading its false gospel, attempting to assuage consciences of those lost in the bondage of sodomy. "A lying tongue…" went before them. His name? Mike Piazza, the pastor of this synagogue of Satan, who carried the banner of the Cathedral.

One of the most wicked floats, and there were many, was called Boys4Toys. This float had large boxes all gift-wrapped and in the boxes were young children. That's right! Precious children were looked upon, lusted after, and viewed as sexual toys to satisfy their homosexual lust. We were stunned and so were the police. They have "hands that shed innocent blood…" for they sacrifice these precious children to a false god - their own lust!

"A heart that devises wicked schemes…" Those in the homosexual community have found ways to cover their sin, not repent of it, by lowering God's standard. By saying that God is love yet never understanding that God's love condemns sin, they create a false sense of God's approval no matter the behavior. How hard it is to receive the true Word when so many say they have it? This false gospel's wickedness lies in the fact that it comes straight from the heart (Jeremiah 17:9).

They were not ashamed to "run to do evil" (vs. 18). They being quick to laugh, mock, and grab their genitals in defiance of the Gospel of Christ. The utter depravity of the whole scene was surreal. We wondered why, if this was such a good thing, the media wasn't there to report what actually went on. Our Mayor and city council members loved the men in G-strings, doing all their gyrations and grinding. One wonders why Laura Miller did not have her picture taken with all of this in the background.

Our main opposition was "THAT Church" (their emphasis). It was the Cathedral of Hope and another "evangelical homosexual" church called White Rock Community Church. They wore "Jesus loves you" T-shirts and sang along with our worship songs. This presented an incredible blurring of the Gospel. They presented a false Jesus who loves the homosexual so much that he doesn't want him to repent but learn to accept himself. This devastating lie has brought death and eternal damnation to so many.

The sure hope for repentant sinners

God gave us the privilege of representing Him and His truth on the streets of Dallas. It was in the midst of those who were parading their sin like Sodom. We went because we loved those lost in sin and desired them to meet the One who could rescue them. We also became acutely aware of the fact that, though Dallas has many "churches," not even a handful of those "many" showed up to allow their theology to become biography. Sunday after Sunday, sermon after sermon, our local churches are equipping saints to go out and do the work of the ministry, right?

Though it may appear that way, the turnout of churches in the streets to proclaim the Gospel of our Lord Jesus tells a different story. Sermons and teachings may be heard all the day long, but doesn't Scripture command that hearers become doers (James 1:22-24). Many of our brothers and sisters take issue with the prophetic witness toward open and outright wickedness being paraded in our city's streets. They feel that we are to just win people to Christ and not mess with the culture.

The God of Scripture, however, the one of the Old and New Testament, says straightforwardly in Ezekiel, "Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; so hear the Word I speak and give them warning from Me. When I say to a wicked man, 'You will surely die,' and you do not warn him or speak out to dissuade him from his evil ways in order to save his life, that wicked man will surely die for his sin, and I will hold you accountable for his blood. But if you warn the wicked man and he does not turn from his wickedness or from his evil ways, he will die for his sin; but you will have saved yourself (Ezekiel 3:17-19)."

Because most in the local church have not taken up the prophetic call to be watchmen and speak out against wickedness, it's no wonder lawlessness runs rampant in our streets and our local congregations. Could it be that many of our assemblies refuse to speak against lawlessness because they themselves tolerate it in their own bodies? So much hypocrisy dwells within us that it should be no surprise that those called to battle have forgotten that there is even a war!

But there were those who did show up for battle. It is the duty of the Church to be out there on the streets and confront the likes of the Cathedral of "Hope." This "church" claims to be a church but blatantly blasphemes our God. This is not just a rebuke to those who did not show up for battle today, but also an exhortation and encouragement to stand up for righteousness' sake. Take advantage of every opportunity that presents itself. To those who fought diligently today your work was not done in vain, so be encouraged with these words of Scripture, 2 Timothy 2 and 2 Timothy 4:1-5.

This man's anger and violence actually compelled him to take on the Dallas Police Department

Who are the hateful ones? and Who are the violent ones?

At one point, while John Reyes was praying a blessing over the saints, a militant homosexual lunged to get at any Christian he could. He snapped, and the anger and violence that filled his poor vexed soul manifested itself. What a foolish man! The police were there and placed the man under arrest.

The parade was built around those claiming to be educated, tolerant, and open-minded. It became very clear that they would tolerate anything, no matter how perverse, but they would not tolerate the Gospel of Christ.

Wisdom called aloud in the street, and raised her voice in the public squares this Sunday afternoon, "How long will you simple ones love your simple ways? How long will mockers delight in mockery and fools hate knowledge?" Proverbs 1:22. If any had heeded the message, God promised that He would pour His heart out to them and make known His thoughts to them. What good news!

In contemporary terms, can the most educated and wisest of men ever create one single molecule, let alone bread? Can he properly sustain himself without even a brain? Can he create from nothing at all? Can he create substances needed to preserve from death? Can he escape his complete dependence upon someone greater than himself? Can he escape death?

O foolish man;
What have your foolish hands built?
Will it last through the fires of affliction;
Will it last in the judgment to come?
