Rescued in Bridgeport, CT

Rescued in Bridgeport, CT

This is an excerpt taken from Marilyn Carroll's street report. This is what our ministry is all about. Not only was a baby saved, but Jesus is working in the young lady's entire family. Thank you Lord that You intercede in the affairs of men. God bless each of you in Bridgeport, CT. You are so faithful and your work will be greatly rewarded!

Today, a young lady, eighteen years old, came running to me crying, with a teddy bear in her arms. She said her dad, her mom and her boyfriend were trying to force her to have an abortion that she did not want. The graphic pictures helped convince her more to not abort. We talked to the mom, the boyfriend, and the young mom for quite a while. We even got to show her one of the babies that was saved. (Alma came with Christina to visit us.)

The boyfriend got disgusted and left. The mom left and said we could have the daughter. I prayed with this young lady for salvation. We took her out to breakfast and she was going to stay with Millie until we got her a permanent home. Little did we know, Debbie, the pastor's wife from our Bridgeport church plant, was talking to the girl's mom around the corner and invited her to come home with her. While I was at the diner, Debbie called on my cell. We thank God for Debbie, the Lord really used her on the streets today, she ministered to many, including another couple and the police officer. She told me she was blessed to be there. Thank you Jesus!

Psalm 126: 5"Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy. 6 He who goes out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with him."

Hours passed and Debbie ministered to the mom. Eventually, Millie brought the girl back to her mom, they reconciled and went home. We gave her a Bible, books, a baby model that was the same age as her baby, and booties to save. Tomorrow this beautiful girl is supposed to come to church with us. And guess where she was born? Jerusalem, Israel! Please keep her in your prayers. This is the beginning of a tough road, but the right road. Sinning can be easy; doing the right thing can be hard. But the results are what matters.
