The Saints are Being Stirred in Waco, TX The City Ordinance that seemed to be largely directed at curtailing activity in front of Planned Parenthood has seemingly backfired in its effect. There are generally between 25 and 40 people that are coming every Wednesday morning now, where it was just a handful before. This past Wednesday there were three pastors, one associate pastor, one youth pastor, that were all present with the other saints in front of the abortuary. Saints are coming out worshiping, praying, and doing sidewalk counseling now with an intensity and a fervor that has not been witnessed there in quite some time. The saints are being stirred; babies are being saved. Last week as one of the cars stopped in the driveway and received the literature that was being offered and some brief counsel, they pulled in, turned around and drove right back out. Praise be to God! The week before, a young military woman had come to have an abortion. Apparently her supervisor was ordered to be her transportation to get there, a man who was personally opposed to abortion, who tried to talk her out of it on the way down. While it appears that she tragically went through with her abortion, there were some things put in action as a result of the information we received from that supervisor. One of the ladies from our church called a number that was given to her and began sharing her concern about female soldiers who are returning from war, and then being pressured into having abortions. As she spoke with the man at the other end of the line, she finally asked him where he was located. He said, "In Virginia at the Pentagon." He went on to share with her that he never picks up the phone. She asked him who his boss was. He said, "Donald Rumsfeld". As she was sharing with him, the Holy Spirit dropped into her spirit that this man was a believer. So she just said, "You're a believer, aren't you?" He replied, "Amen", and that he was writing as fast as he could. He said that they had never considered this aspect before concerning these soldiers. So God is working to bring good even out of this tragedy. Since our new City Ordinance, each week we have had a strong police presence, three or four squad cars and policemen standing in front of the clinic monitoring our behavior and activities each Wednesday. But this past Wednesday, there were no policemen standing out and the only squad car was about a half block away, and I think he had his radar set up within that school zone. One of the police commanders had shared with one of our sidewalk counselors that 95 percent of the Police Department is with us and they think that the law is not right. God is obviously fighting on our behalf. The church in Waco is waking up! Thank You, Jesus. Pastor Ronnie Holmes 254/799-2656
