Savage Wolves

John Reyes wrote this article while in jail in Lynchburg, Virginia. He is in jail for bringing the Gospel of Christ to the students at E.C. Glass High School in Lynchburg. Five students gave their hearts to Christ that day as over 300 Liberty University students visited the high school campus with the Gospel. John’s crime (trespassing) earned him a one-year jail sentence with six months suspended. He was aghast when Mel White and his “soul force” came to Lynchburg to proclaim the wonderful benefits of homosexuality at Pastor Jerry Falwell’s Church. The righteous are placed in jail while the wicked freely strut their stuff!

Savage Wolves

“Savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock. Even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them. So be on guard!” Acts 20:29-31.

When the Lord spoke these words through His servant Luke, he did it to warn those in the early church of the apostasy that would take place in their lifetime. Also he wrote to warn of the widespread heretical teachings that would occur throughout the entire last days period (from the time of Christ’s ascension to the time of His return). In the past, we considered these savage wolves to be the leaders of such cults as Jehovah’s Witnesses, Branch Davidians, and Mormans.. Indeed these cults have been used by satan to deceive multitudes into following a different Gospel, a Jesus different from the One portrayed in Scripture.

There is another religious group, however, that has come forth in recent years that is far more deceitful. It is seducing the hearts of thousands of people here in the United States. These men and women carry Bibles, wear clerical collars, worship in large congregations, and use Christian lingo. The people I am referring to support, encourage, practice, and preach that homosexuality and Christianity go hand in hand.

“For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve.” 2 Corinthians 11: 13-15.

I watched from my jail cell in horror as I witnessed Mel White and his savage wolves gather in Lynchburg, Virginia, to promote their sinful homosexual lifestyle. These lying prophets prophesied a peace that can never be attained until a righteous holy fear of God is imparted in a man’s heart through repentance and regeneration. Mr. White has come out from the evangelical community, left the wife and children of his youth, to embrace homosexuality as God’s way. This counterfeit Gospel proclaims that homosexuality is not a sin but rather something that God approves.

The true Gospel produces in a man the hatred for this sin and all sin. The true Gospel convicts the heart to repentance and allows no excuses and no alibis. Sin must be dealt with. Mel White and his savage wolves cannot tolerate anyone calling homosexuality a sin. To do so would be committing “spiritual violence” to the homosexual. Be not deceived! These savage wolves are liars and murderers, misleading the people they guide and causing them to be led astray. (Isaiah 9:16). They have been handed over to a depraved mind and although they appear to be lovers of God, they are in fact, God haters. (Romans 1:24-32).

Despite the deceitful works of these savage wolves, the power of the Holy Spirit is tearing down the lie and exposing the father of lies and his sorry disciples. Jesus Christ is bringing those who have been bound in homosexuality for years and setting them free from their sinful lifestyles. They are coming out of homosexuality and into Christ. Their chains are being broken by the power of the Holy Spirit.

The counterfeit gospel preached by Mel White is no match for the true Gospel of Jesus Christ! White’s doctrine of demons is being exposed by loving Christians who are storming the gates of hell (this lie) and confronting these men and women with the truth of the Gospel. Just as Christ confronted us with our sin, so we must confront these men and women with their sin, so that they too may attain eternal life in Christ. In the Bible, this is called love. It is the true Gospel that sets men free!
