She brings out the absolute importance of fasting and praying before we embark on storming the gates of hell at abortion mills. We have seen the truth of this message over and over again. Standing for Jesus at “The Last Abortion Clinic”

Hey Flip.... 

Hope you liked the story as much as we did.  I thought Amy did a great job; and how did you like the last four words spoken by the abortion clinic owner...."We're losing this battle!" Hallelujah!!

Anyway for our story...last summer we were there on our usual scheduled day at the "Last" abortion clinic, when PBS showed up to film. It freaked the clinic out to have such big cameras on the sidewalk and they told the girls it was just another fear tactic that we invented to keep people away (wish we had been that smart!); so, they called the police.  In a matter of minutes, at least 4 police cars had descended on the place, totally blocking the parking lot and the street.  Nobody could get in or out for at least 45 minutes.

By way of personal confession, Richard and I decided in January, to fast this year on our sidewalk counseling days, Wednesdays, for more power to talk to the girls. One Wednesday, I woke up ravenous....hadn't had much to eat the evening before, woke up early and thought,,,, I'll just have a bowl of cereal and start my fast after that, which I did. (Did you ever realize how easy it would be to fast if we just didn't get so hungry??) But we made it out to the clinic and it was like the walls were brass....hardness of heart...no effectiveness. So I confessed my "breakfast" to Richard and prayed and asked the Lord to forgive my lack of discipline. The next three girls that came out had changed their mind, taking our baby gift bags and praying with us.

Oh yeah, the next week after Bound for Life was here praying and fasting at the clinic, Richard and I had 6 babies saved. That praying and fasting is the key.
