Standing With Terri Flip, What are your plans should the removal of Terri's food and water proceed? Mike Warren Mike, All of this is contingent on what the legislature in the state of Florida does. They may do righteously, as they have done once before, in crafting, passing, and signing into law, Terri's Law. They stood for life in the face of an arrogant court and won the battle then, but it was only a battle – not the war! There weren't many there during that first battle for her life, but God is raising up an army to stand with her in these times. We will be going down to bring water to Terri. David Hall, from Ft Worth, Texas, and the Liberty Bell will be with us also. Most of you have seen the Liberty Bell. It presents an exquisite stage for the lifting up of the Gospel of Christ. We will do as we did in October 2003, when Judge Greer and Michael Schaivo had the tubes removed from her. On Terri's fifth day of starvation and dehydration, we all stood in a line with Styrofoam cups filled with water. By doing this, we became a “living parable” that Terri's life was at least important to some people. That she was precious in God's sight, and was precious to her parents, brother and sister, her friends, and to us. We were ready to be arrested. There were about 40 of us. We believed that if it was inevitable that Terri must die, it was imperative that she not die alone. But then, Terri's Law was passed. God worked a miracle! David is prepared to have the Liberty Bell in Florida this weekend if necessary. I pray that many of us will be able to join him. Ed Martin and Ron Brock are already there. Pastor Sam Green from Palm Bay, Florida, is ready to go. I simply need some help because I do not know when I can get there.
