Terri's Feeding Tube Has Been Removed!

We have just found out around 3:00 EST, they have removed the feeding and hydration tube from Terri Schaivo. This is indeed a shocking turn of events. We need to prepare to go to Florida. We will try to be there by Tuesday of next week to bring food and water to Terri. It is our turn now to become a living parable of our Father's love and care for the life of precious Terri Schaivo.

We need to be a people that is not only vexed by the things that we see in our time, but a people who know that we were born for a time such as this. FoxNews is no friend of the Lord's, or of Terri Schaivo. Its treatment of this today's tragedy has made the lame, the weak, the aged, and the very young to be less than human beings. Indeed, it has portrayed them (by the way they have portrayed Terri's life) as less than cabbages in a field. We were also very disappointed to hear FOXNews talk about what they have learned through Terri's plight and all they seemed to have come up with is the need for a living will. There are so many who could speak eloquently God's Words for Terri's life and yet none were asked to speak – only those who bore a party line.

This day will be a bench mark in the battle of the culture of death facing off with the culture of life. What we have seen is that when death comes to the door, those who stand for life simply acquiesce. I am thankful for our rich Biblical heritage that when death came to the door, and the tyrants of the age shouted their threats, there were those who took them on in the name of Jesus and won battle after battle. But today, we have become like the men of Ephraim . “The children of Ephraim, being armed and carrying bows, Turned back in the day of battle. They did not keep the covenant of God; They refused to walk in His law, and forgot His works and his wonders that He had shown them.” Ps 78:9-11.

We are asking that each of you join us in Florida. Though we may plan our way a bit, the Lord will direct our steps.
