Update in Waco

The City Council of Waco, TX is demanding that their unlawful, unconstitutional, unbiblical city ordinance be enforced by local law officials. These city magistrates have been sworn to uphold the laws of their nation, state, and city. Not to invent laws as they see fit. These city tyrants must be resisted by the Church of Jesus Christ.

We are called to be law-keepers and therefore, we Christians must do all that we can to resist these unlawful city ordinances. “Those who forsake the law praise the wicked, but those who keep the law resist them.” Proverbs 28:4.

Valiant Christian pastors and men of God stood their ground in Waco , TX yesterday as they defied a local ordinance requiring a permit to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ into the streets. This is the United States of America . We need no permit to acknowledge God and stand upon the principles that He has established in His Word.

These biblical principles are the foundation upon which our nation has become great. Every time a petty civil magistrate seeks to violate these principles, he must be resisted. We will never allow a permit to censor our First Amendment rights and responsibilities before God to bring the Gospel of Christ to the very gates of hell.

The City Council of Waco, TX, rather than serving its constituents has chosen to serve itself and its own anti-God agenda. We are calling for pastors in Waco to rise up and contend with the enemies of our Lord and return us to the rich heritage of our pilgrim forefathers and Founding Fathers. The City Council of Waco, TX needs a history lesson in constitutional law and biblical foundations. After all, these are what made this nation great. “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord…” Psalm 33:12.
