Report on "Word in Warfare - Gates of Hell Come Down!"

Report on "Word in Warfare - Gates of Hell Come Down!"

Here is Pastor Chet's report on "Word in Warfare - Gates of Hell Come Down!" We are looking for reports from all who participated. I have heard rumors of someone being threatened arrest in Missouri and I know the Palm Bay, Florida group "gave them heaven" all over the city. Write your report and let us know. Keep shining for Jesus!

Thanks so much for your participation yesterday. You are a saint doing Kingdom business. Whether you were unable to attend but prayed for us off site, or joined us to read the Word publicly, or may even have been on the teams anointing and/or blessing the students who passed by, God had His way with them AND with us!

Here's a summary:

The Word was read for hours! 60 people participated on site. 6 Teams read publicly for 3 hours in the morning as thousands of students arrived. Two teams read aloud for over two hours in the afternoon prayed (That means the equivalent of almost 22 hours of reading the Word aloud.)

Some students were even anointed with oil.

Then over 700+ Gospels of John were placed into the hands of hundreds of receptive students. A small explanation or "contact card" was inserted in the gospel booklets.

Another 100+ tracts were distributed in the afternoon as students passed us by in the open public area in front of the Public library.

Many students were prayed for; some were even anointed with oil!

Others were saved and thousands were blessed. Almost all were touched personally.

Opposition was minor: Late in the morning session, a school official told us we were "loitering" asking us to leave the front of the public library. We told him we were reading "publicly" (the Word of God) in front of a "Public Library" and we were therefore, not loitering. And because we were doing lawful Kingdom business (incidentally, something protected by the First Amendment) we decided it was best not to leave but to remain. We did this without further incident and returned again to that same "Public" place to read in the afternoon.

It was a real victory and I believe we will now have an open door of outreach ministry to Independence High School we have not had before. We have certainly begun to see the Power of God move in that place. There was so much prayer that went out for this event that we had surprisingly little opposition.

Not a bad day in the kingdom. So...Bam! Take that devil.

What's next?

PHASE ONE of the battle plan for our youth started yesterday, on Halloween. We engaged the Word in Warfare with "Warfare Prayer." That exploit began "The Siege."

Now...PLEASE PRAY and if you can, PARTICIPATE, in the next two "Word in Warfare" exploits at Independence High School in San Jose, CA:

PHASE TWO: Our next outreach exploit (just before students leave for Christmas vacation) will be to join the "Word in Warfare" with "High Praise." We'll be "disguised" as brightly clad Christian Carolers (actually "warfare worshippers") with guitars and Christmas music. They will not hear from us the mundane "Happy Holidays" greeting they'll be hearing elsewhere. Instead, we'll greet teach student on that day with a not-so-typical Merry Christmas blessing...ours will be specifically "In the Name of Jesus." We will command a blessing upon them in the power of His Name!

Regarding our "warfare worship:" On the surface they will hear us "just" singing Christmas Carols to them, (and also reading the Bible aloud.) But in actuality we will be waging war in the heavenlies on their behalf. We will go back to this school with the "High praises of God in our mouth and a two-edged sword in our hand to execute the written judgment"...of God on His enemies. (Psalm 149)

PHASE THREE: We will return a third time with Word in Warfare and the Ten Commandments. This will be at the beginning of the second semester when they return to school after the holidays. We'll have beautiful, large, full color placards of the Ten Commandments on display (since their teachers can no longer display the Ten Commandments in their classrooms.) On this day we will give away the Ten Commandment textbook covers for their next semester's class textbooks. That way the students themselves can display the Ten Commandments in their classrooms everywhere!

We are thankful to have a "Christian Club" led by the students at Independence High and we are working together with them. They joined us on Halloween and they are excited about the continuing exploits ahead.

Please respond to this e-mail and let me know IF, WHEN, and HOW you would like to participate in "The Word in Warfare Siege."

Bless you in Jesus name!

Pastor Chet and JoAnn
