Do you know the difference between a Guernsey cow and a pro-abortion feminist?  About 250 lbs and a plad shirt.  The pro-aborts made their appearance at the abortion mills this year during our National Event but even in their “mocking God” presence there were 10 babies saved during our week of allowing the theology of heaven to become biography at the gates of hell.  What an awesome time of Gospel proclamation!

Here is their push for cash.  ~ Flip

Our video of Vermani spouting his hatred went viral on the web and exposes the hypocrisy of choice.  Abortionists do not care one whit about women’s rights.  They are motivated by greed and hatred.  They hate women. They hate babies. They are full of racial hate. They serve only their own interests and Satan!  Those “ugly black babies” are made in the image of God and that is why they hate them.  Here is the story via lifesitenews.com.

You were a great witness for Jesus to all four of the churches God gave us the privilege to confront with the true Gospel of Christ.  The lambs in those churches desperately need the “living water” you possess and give away so graciously and freely.  Here is a follow-up on one of those churches.

Enjoy!

August 4, 2012 by Flip Benham

I attended the early morning service (8:45 AM) at Central United Methodist Church in Concord, yesterday August 4, 2012, and listened to Andy Tolliver (Pastor) deliver a message on Jonah.  He began his sermon this way:  “Most Hebrew scholars view the book of Jonah as a folk tale.”  He explained that “…all the facts may not necessarily be true, but that the folk tale does reveal a truth about God.”

OK, so who determines what is true and what is not?  Are you the final arbiter of Truth Andy?

So I settled in my mind that the most implausible thing to imagine in the book of Jonah was the fact that he was thrown overboard and swallowed by a great fish.  That he remained in the belly of that fish for three days and nights, until God got his point across, and then the fish expelled him on a beach near Nineveh.

As a matter of fact, Andy even had a huge fish balloon filled with helium being raised up in the sanctuary with the real scary music from the movie “Jaws.”  It was corny, but he was trying to make a point: “God loves everybody, including the hated Ninevites!”

The “Word of God” was like a fire shut up in my bones, but I remained silent until I could speak to Andy at the end of the service.  After most of the folks had left the church, I went to the Fourier where Andy was shaking hands and asked him if Jesus believed that Jonah was actually swallowed by a great fish, and remained in that fish for three days and nights.  I referred him to Matthew 12:39-42 and Luke 11:29-32.

“He (Jesus) answered, “A wicked and adulterous generation asks for a miraculous sign!  But none will be given it except the sign of the prophet Jonah.  For as Jonah was three days and three nights of a huge fish, so the Son of man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.”  Matthew 12:39-40.

I asked him if Jesus considered Jonah to be a folk tale or an actual historical fact.  After all, Jesus did use this (folk tale?) as a “living parable” of His own resurrection.  I asked him if Jesus was lying about the fact that Jonah did actually spend three days in the belly of a great fish.  Surely He (Jesus) would know the truth.  Andy seemed a bit flummoxed but continued smiling at me.  I pointed out that either he was lying or Jesus was?

I then gave him this Scripture out of the Book of Jonah, “Those who cling to worthless idols forfeit the grace that could be theirs.”  Jonah 2:8.  I reminded him that God had spoken to him on several different occasions through the lives of simple little Christians in many and various ways calling him to repentance.  Andy has chosen to cling to worthless idols (Higher Criticism being one of them) and therefore will forfeit the grace that God desires to give him.

The sad thing is Andy is the shepherd of so many lambs that are being led astray by his false and arrogant teaching.

Our good friend Bob Pawson hits the nail on the head with this one.

Sowing & Reaping: Chick-fil-A ‘Bully’ Unintentionally Teaches Bible Lessons to America

by Bob Pawson

Adam Smith, whose rant against Chick-fil-A and bullying of a drive thru clerk named Rachel went viral on YouTube, seems to have committed what could be called ‘Employment Suicide’ by getting himself fired as CFO of a medical supply company as a consequence. In actuality, Smith unwittingly ran headlong into a series of Biblical principles. Let’s take a brief look at a few of them.

The only item Smith ordered was a free cup of ice water. As Smith told Rachel, he did so in order to “take a little bit of money from Chick-Fil-A.” At that point, Smith ran smack dab into Galatians 6:7 “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.” Having succeeded in taking a little bit of money from Chick-fil-A, Smith also managed to take out his own entire salary and benefits in the process. As the Lord says in Joel 3:4, “I will swiftly and speedily return on your own heads what you have done.” Some might mislabel it as ‘karma’, but we Christians know it was the Holy Spirit teaching an object lesson – to a man – and to a nation. The Law of Reciprocity is indeed awesome.

Smith also encountered Matthew 25:35, “I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink…” and verse 40, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.’ Smith didn’t know it, but Rachel, and Dan Cathy, and Chick-fil-A were simply doing what Christ calls upon Christians to do as daily routine ministry. In serving a cup of cold water to Adam Smith, they were serving Jesus – and they were being Christ to Smith. Smith’s dishonorable motives and ill-will were of no concern or interest to them. Smith thought that he was stealing something from Chick-fil-A; but you can’t steal that which is being given away freely and generously in the name of the Lord.

It is interesting that the name ‘Rachel’ means “God’s Lamb (ewe)” – showing once again that ‘coincidence’ is God’s way of being subtle. As Smith’s own YouTube video reveals, Rachel’s gentle grace and meek spirit shone through as the real power at that drive-thru window. (See Proverbs 31:10-31) You go, Girl! I exhort Adam Smith, and all who read this essay, to contemplate the fuller context by reading Galatians 6:7-10 and Matthew 25:31-46 which is subtitled, ‘The Sheep and the Goats’.

A closing admonition to Adam Smith: Your name means ‘man’. I urge you to play the man; to be the man: proffer your sincere and humble apology to Rachel, Dan Cathy, and Chick-fil-A. Remember, you will indeed reap what you sow. By the way, and this is no secret: Rachel, Dan, and Chick-fil-A harbor no animosity towards you; indeed quite the opposite. You are welcome to a ‘free’ cup of water from them, or any of us Christians, at any time. Best of all, Jesus offers you the same Living Water which he gave us. It’s yours – for free. Just ask Him. Agape’.

We will be having our next regional event  in Little Rock, Arkansas, September 12-16, 2012.  The state of Arkansas has one remaining abortion mill in it.  It is our prayer that, as the Church of Jesus Christ in Little Rock rises up on behalf of her preborn brothers and sisters, that soon there will be no abortion mills left in the state of Arkansas.

It may seem inconceivable to us but it is inevitable with God!

There is no rest for the weary. Thankfully, the Thomas Nation made it home safe and sound from our national event in North Carolina. We returned to the usual challenges associated with this great battle for the souls of men, the lives of children, and the future of our nation.

We now focus on the next phase in the States of Refuge Campaign. From September 12-16, OSA will conduct a States of Refuge regional event in Little Rock, Arkansas. God has already gone before us and secured a host church, Victory Fellowship, and reasonable hotel accommodations.

New Family Birth in the Battle

Good morning my dear brother of our Lord Jesus!

My family and I were at the National Event last week in North Carolina. This was our first event and we thank God for each moment we spent there among the saints at the gates of Hell – we came back a changed family.

My family and I would like to plan to attend the gathering in Little Rock in September and wondered if there was someone we needed to contact so we could get hotel info, etc as soon as it was available. I am not sure to whom this email is directed, perhaps I was able to meet you, if not I pray we will in just a few short weeks.

There are 10 of us in our family, upon the death of my husband in 2009 my oldest daughter and son in law, adopted me and the four youngest siblings left to raise and now we are a blended family of 10. It is a true blessing.

Thank you for your help – may the Lord bless you and keep you close to Him.

Abiding in Christ,

Angela Hagenow

It is our prayer that many of you will be encouraged by this family that is coming to Little Rock and be inspired to join us as well. Remember, our righteous goal is to soon present to our Lord the first abortion free state in America. We need your help to accomplish this Kingdom task in Jesus’ name!

Most of you know Dan Becker or have read his awesome book on “Personhood.”  Well, it appears as if the folks in Georgia will be able to vote for the “Personhood” Amendments in 2014 if things go as planned.  In Georgia, there is no doubt how the vote will go if the folks are given an opportunity to vote for the “personhood” of the preborn child.  Here’s the story via lc.org!

Here is Miss Pat’s report about her Chick-Fil-A in Palm Bay, Florida.  Here in Charlotte it was just incredible.  Thousands upon thousands of folks filled the several Chick-Fil-A restaurants in this area.  Wendy’s put up on their Marquis:  “Eat at Chick-Fil-A Today.”  I have never seen people so happy and so polite in a very crowded restaurant where tempers sometimes can flare.  The sense of unity.  The true pride of being an American.  The Joy of being a member of the body of Christ. The charge that we, as Christians, have a battle to fight in our generation.  The cheers in the Chick-Fil-A restaurants and the songs sung on their premises all pointed to the supreme fact that Jesus Christ is still LORD in America.

As the Chick-Fil-A cows began to shout out the truth from the rooftops of Chick-Fil-A restaurants on August 1, 2012, God’s people began to move!

Oh my friends, Aslan is on the move indeed!

I went to the Chick Fil- a in front of the Walmart in West Melbourne Florida ( near Palm Bay ) about 2 Pm this afternoon to avoid the noon rush – there was no avoiding! The parking lot was full ( people parked in Walmart and walked over). – the drive through wound around the building and the line inside snaked around from the play area to the restrooms then back past the seating to the counters – They had about 10 workers when they usually have 3 and it was still hectic – but it was all cheerful in the lines.  No one was impatient and we were chatting about why we were here and what we had seen.  One man said his wife had come at breakfast time and that it was packed then – there were 2 protestors with signs but they stayed only a short time and then left.

The amazing thing was the diversity of people there.  Uniformed Palm Bay police, firemen, workers from other restaurants , an owner and family of a BBQ restaurant in town wearing their t-shirts.  Everyone came out in support.  One of the staff told my neighbor when he delivered a milk shake that was not ready with our order that they had already had several $2500 (sales) hours and that the crowds were getting thicker not thinner.

A young girl who impatiently pushed into the line asked me what was going on. When I explained she relaxed immediately and all anger disappeared.  She said she had not heard but that she was so glad she came. J

You will love this little 38 second video.  It says so much in just a few words.  The Chick-Fil-A cows are standing upon the truth of God’s Word and shouting it from the rooftops.  Amazing that God would use a fast food (great food) chicken restaurant to proclaim that Marriage is between one man and one woman.  I thought that was the job of His church.

“For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish.  And who knows but that you have come to a royal position for such a time as this.”  Esther 4:14.

Hmmmmmmmm.

Enjoy some Chick-Fil-A this Wednesday! ~ Flip
