National Event in St. Louis, Missouri, July 30 - August 5,2000
"Passing the Cross of Christ to the Next Generation"

You have a call to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the very gates of hell! Jesus has promised that the gates of hell will not prevail against His church (Mt 16:18). You have a duty to stand uncompromisingly for the truth of God's Word. God has promised to watch over His Word to see that it is fulfilled (Jer 1:12). You have a purpose from God to fulfill. Jesus said to the Father, "I have brought you glory on earth by completing the work you gave me to do." (John 17:4).

Let us complete the work and bring God glory!

Come to St. Louis the week of July 30 - August 5 and be a part of the righteous remnant waging war on the enemy's camp. Our purpose is to pass the Cross of Christ into the hearts of our children (the next generation) that they may move further up and further into the Kingdom than we have ever gone. Come--and have your hearts filled with destiny, your spirits with boldness, your minds with resolve, and your lives with purpose. The enemy hopes you will stay home, but we are praying that you will come. We are praying that the gates of every exposed place in St. Louis will be lifted up that the King of Glory may enter in! Our God is an Awesome God!

"And I will put enmity between you [the devil] and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel." Genesis 3:15

Whether we realize it or not, we are in a WAR! There is a BATTLE raging right now between us (the seed of the woman) and the enemy (the seed of the serpent) for the control of our children -- indeed, it is a battle for their very lives. One-third of our children (the enemy's target) have been slaughtered by abortion, with more being taken each day. The devil is not stopping until he has all our children, the arrows God has given us, under his seductive and lying sway. He is in the war to the DEATH. The question is, are we?

For 27 years now in America, we have allowed Satan to kill our children, rob our nation of its godly heritage and destiny, steal our arrows, and destroy our desire to fight. He has gained ground in our nation, our cities, our churches, and even our homes because we have readily conceded the truth of God's Word for the lies of the "professionals" and "experts" who tell us they "know best." As long as we continue in our present state of compromise and cowardice, we surrender our culture, our nation, and the next generation to the archenemy of Jesus Christ. No More!

We can no longer afford to remain in the safety and comfort of our homes and churches pleading for peace with an enemy bent on our annihilation. We are going to seek him out. At every gate where he has stolen ground we are going to take it back in the Name of Jesus Christ. No more denial, no more compromise, no more "common ground"; we are going to allow God to crush the devil's head as we bring the Gospel of Christ to the gates of hell. Our arrows belong to God!

God asks, "Who will rise up for me against the wicked? Who will take a stand for me against evildoers?" Psalm 94:16. It's time for every Christian to come forward and say, "I will!" It's time to take the theology of the church house and make it biography in the streets. It's time to stop playing defense and start taking to the offense. It's time to stop hiding in fear and lay down our lives for the cause of Christ and the sake of His children--born and unborn. It's time to put on the whole armor of God and run to the roar of the battle. It's time to do serious damage to the gates of hell! Can somebody say, "AMEN!"

God is calling us to fight this Gospel fight. Answer the call! Come join us in St. Louis during the week of July 30 - August 5 as we bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the Gateway of the West. Dads and moms, see God move as we pass the Cross of Christ into the hearts of our kids. We will instill in them a sense of God's purpose and destiny and inspire them with our own acts of courage and example. That's right, dad and mom, our own acts of courage and example.

Young people, come take a stand for the truth of God's Word by living out your faith in the streets of St. Louis and learning how to "contend ... for the faith of the gospel without being frightened in any way by those who oppose you" (Philippians 1:27-28). In the mornings we will engage the enemy by shining forth the light of the Gospel at every gate where the enemy is contending. We will expose his lies. Theology will become biography. In the afternoons we will have our theology hammered out through the grid of a biblical worldview with awesome teachers of God's Word. In the evenings we will gather for praise and worship, testimonies of what happened during the day, and Biblical exhortation and training by dynamic speakers. This is an event you do not want to miss--it will change your life!

"In that day the remnant of Israel, the survivors of the house of Jacob, will no longer rely on him who struck them down but will truly rely on the LORD, the Holy One of Israel. A remnant will return, a remnant of Jacob will return to the Mighty God." Isaiah 10:20-21

"They will return to it [the land] and remove all its vile images and detestable idols. I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh. Then they will follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. They will be my people, and I will be their God." Ezekiel 11:18-20

"Washington University", St. Louis - We Gave 'Em Heaven!!!!

On February 25, the campus of Washington University in St. Louis was stirred up as Rev. Flip Benham and about 20 other Christian activists exposed the truth about the school's use of aborted baby body parts for research and shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the students. Arriving about 11:00 a.m. we met up with Matthew, the head of the student group that had invited us to the campus, and then widely positioned ourselves in a well-traveled section of the campus to hand out information. As students on their lunch break came walking by, they could not help but see the several full-size signs showing the victims of abortion and hear our proclamations of the trafficking of aborted baby parts at their school. Though some attempted to ignore us, disputes began almost immediately as indignant students expressed how "offended" they were by what we were doing.

Although the campus security eventually made us put away our signs and literature after about 45 minutes, it was not soon enough to douse the fires God had begun. Particularly inciting the wrath of students was one large sign we had that compared Hitler's Holocaust of the Jews with America's Holocaust of abortion. A large population of the student body at Wash-U is Jewish, which really added fuel to the fire! In no time at all a large crowd of students had gathered around Rev. Benham as he debated an impassioned young man named Tim, who believed that the use of the aborted babies' bodies in research was acceptable. He later prayed with Tim.

The sparks were soon shooting out all over as every one of us who came to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the gates of secular humanism and paganism became involved in our own circle of debates with the students who continued to gather. For over four hours we boldly proclaimed the absolute truth of God's Word to those who believed in the lies of relativism, pluralism, tolerance, neutrality, evolution, homosexuality, and a woman's so-called "right to choose." Those who had been taken "captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world" (Colossians 2:8) were blown away by the fact that we uncompromisingly stood on the Scriptures and were not ashamed to say that Jesus is our standard. Even those who claimed to be "pro-life" were dumbfounded that we would not surrender God as the basis of our argument against abortion.

Six simultaneous conversations

We thank our Lord for opening the door for Rev. Benham to come and shine the Gospel light of Jesus into the darkness of Wash-U. We thank our Lord for the opportunities He gave us to spread the fire of His Truth across the campus. We trust His Spirit to continue the work begun in the hearts and minds of all who heard. It was an awesome experience that each of us will not soon forget, and I think it will remain quite the topic on the now-electrified campus of Washington University. As Rev. Benham says, for four hours, we gave them heaven!!!

CDC to Bring the Church to the U.S. Supreme Court
April 23-25

The Christian Defense Coalition (CDC) headed by Pat Mahoney will be bringing the Church of Jesus Christ to the steps of the Supreme Court of the United States of America in Washington, D.C. This court has not yet come to the realization that it is not supreme. Pat will be bringing another court, which truly is SUPREME to the steps of this lesser court to remind it that there is a Supreme Judge and that He has spoken. The U.S. Supreme Court will be hearing two very important cases on April 24-25, one concerning the ban on Partial Birth Abortion, and the other concerning homosexuality in the Boy Scouts of America. Pat is orchestrating a prayer vigil on the steps of the court beginning Easter Sunday morning, April 23, through April 25. Update on Dayton FACE Case

The United States Department of Justice has just informed us that our FACE trial in Dayton, Ohio has been rescheduled for May 15, 2000. What a surprise! If you have ever wondered why our Justice Department has been so delinquent in its prosecution of drug trafficking, organized crime, organized crime in the White House, gun smuggling, terrorist groups, child porn, pedophiles, ad nauseum; wonder no more. It is spending most of its time and money pursuing those it considers a real threat. Who is this threat you ask? It is Gentle Christian moms and dads, grandmas and grandpas, sons and daughters who live out their faith in the streets of our cities. It is those who proclaim that there is another King, one called Jesus. It is those who dare to take the Gospel to the very gates of hell!
