September 2003 Announcing the “Ecclesiastical Court” September 25th and October 6th in Washington, D.C. In light of what has taken place in Montgomery, Alabama, and the fact that the federal courts of this land are plunging us into great darkness with their abominable rulings, it is time for the Church of Jesus Christ to get out of her prayer closet. If you are as sickened as we are by the infuriating and blaspheming decisions of the Supreme Court and are wondering what God-fearing people can do – Here it is!
An “Ecclesiastical Court” will be held at federal courthouses in cities across this land on Thursday, September 25, 2003, at 11:30am. Then, during the opening session of the Supreme Court of the United States of America on Monday, October 6, 2003, Christians from across the nation will gather at the steps of this court to hold it in contempt of the Court of Almighty God. If an “Ecclesiastical Court” is not being organized in your city, maybe you are the one God is raising up. We need men of God in every city to take this message to the gates of the federal courts. Then, make your plans to join us in Washington, D.C., October 4-6 as we remind the Supreme Court that Jesus is the only One who is truly Supreme! We have everything you need posted on our website at www.operationsaveamerica.org. If you have any questions, please call our office at 972-240-9370. We have a video that will help you to equip the saints in your area. This is not a time for whimpering. This is a time for men to rise up in the name of Jesus and repair the altar of the Lord that is lying in ruins. We can do this! We must do this for the sake of our children. They Moved the Monument, but Nothing of God Has Been Moved! At 9:05am on August 27, 2003, the Ten Commandments Monument was removed from its rightful place in the Alabama Supreme Court Building. God is not ringing His hands. He is painting a “Living Parable.” This is a sign and judgment of what has already happened in our hearts in this nation. Most of us believe in the Ten Commandments, but instead of sealing them upon our hearts and minds, we have shoved them in a closet. This statement was issued at 2:03pm on August 26, 2003, by the eight Associate Justices who removed Judge Moore: “The Associate Justices submit their Motion and Brief not withstanding the belief of many, if not all of them, that it is constitutional for public officials to acknowledge God in public spaces and to display the Ten Commandments in courthouses. They all believe themselves bound, however, by a final judgment and injunction issued by a federal court that has not been stayed… The Associate Justices believe themselves to be bound by that injunction not withstanding their personal beliefs.” Their statement is revealing. It exposes the very heart of our nation before a holy God. We cannot be offended at the moral cowardice of these justices without recognizing it in ourselves. The Church in America has lost her moral bearing. We have listened to the lies of the enemy and become ensnared. We have been subdued by our own desire for personal peace and the blessings of God. We will believe so long as that belief will not hinder our personal peace, reputation, or fortune. We will believe so long as it costs us nothing! Where are the great men of God like Daniel, who would not deny the Lord even though an unrighteous law was fabricated against him? Where are Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego? Where are those with hearts like Peter, who understood that to obey God often meant to run into conflict with the law of man? We are not advocating civil disobedience, neither do we engage in a battle for our First Amendment rights. We have a duty before God to walk in Biblical obedience. That means that we will find ourselves at odds with unrighteous laws – like the one federal Judge Myron Thompson issued to Judge Roy Moore to remove the Ten Commandments Monument. As Christians we cannot make peace with a world system that hates God and His Law. As Christians we are called to submit to God and his Word at all times, not just when it is convenient! The enemy has come in like a flood. The welfare of our nation is hanging in the balance. The Church of the Living God must rise up and honor her Lord and King with everything that she is, knowing that she is not her own, she has been bought with a price. We need men of God to rise up and point this nation back to her heritage, a heritage when men were willing to give everything, even life itself, to make this nation great, a heritage founded upon the very Law of God when there was “No King, but King Jesus.” Failure Within the Ranks of Christ Pat Robertson, Richard Land, and Jay Sekulow must not be excused from their failure to spur the Church on to Biblical obedience. Each stated their disdain for what they called Judge Roy Moore’s “civil disobedience.” Their arguments sound so much like the words we have heard over the years from well-meaning Christians, who don’t understand the battle, telling us that we are doing more harm than good when we give a voice to voiceless children. Robertson, Land, and Sekulow need to be standing next to the man who, Elijah-like, has drawn the line for the people of God asking, “How long will you waiver between two opinions?” We should want to love God’s Word like it is our very breath. We should want to honor our Lord in thought, word, and deed. We should want to do everything in our power to see our government once again acknowledge the Law of God as her standard so that our children can live in the liberty that this nation was founded upon. We should want to follow in the footsteps of the great cloud of witnesses that inspire us to run the race marked out. Judge Roy Moore is doing this very thing. Judge Roy Moore is a Law Keeper – our Federal Courts are Law Breakers (Proverbs 28:4) Where are the men who will lead us in true Biblical submission by resisting what is evil? We need them in every arena. Only Congress can make law. We need passionate men in Congress to step up and tell these federal judges to stop taking authority that is not theirs to take. It is only the Church of Jesus Christ that is ordained to come against the enemy ravaging our land. We need mighty men of God to take the authority Christ has given and sound a wake-up call to a Church that is sleeping. God has raised up a man in this hour to show us what true Biblical submission looks like. His name is Judge Roy Moore. Let us not just sit and quietly cheer Judge Moore on. Let us follow his example, pick up our cross, and follow our Lord Jesus even unto death. I can hear the great cloud of witnesses calling each of us by name. I can sense the mighty warring angels ready to attack as the Church rises up and takes her place at the gates. I can see the Lord’s hand stretched out as He assures us He will bring us all the way through. Now is the time, Church! We can do this! This is what we have been saved for! “Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.” 1 Peter 4:1-2 Judge
Roy Moore – A Light Piercing Through the Darkness "Powerless," said the Wichita Eagle. "Blackout," said the Post Standard in Syracuse. God is confirming, with signs and wonders, the battle for the life of our nation, and Judge Roy Moore is his lightning rod. “Just a couple of hours after Judge Moore's press conference declaring his stand for God and the Ten Commandments, the lights went out in New York City!” states Reverend Flip Benham, Director of Operation Save America. “The die has been cast, the line has been drawn. Like the prophet Elijah before him, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the State of Alabama has aligned himself with God and His Law.” “Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path. I have taken an oath and confirmed it, that I will follow your righteous laws.” Psalm 119:105-106. This nation is hanging in the balance. If we allow the Ten Commandments to be removed, not only in Alabama but throughout our entire judicial system, we will be plunged into a darkness we know nothing of in this nation. Without the Law of God there is only powerlessness and darkness. “This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.” John 3:19. We are joining Judge Moore in Montgomery, Alabama, August 20-22 and will be conducting an Ecclesiastical Court outside the Federal Court Building where Judge Myron Thompson chose to lift the stay and call for Judge Moore to remove the Ten Commandments Monument. Let’s join "Elijah" and ask America, "... How long will you waiver between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him: but if Baal is God, follow him..." 1 Kings 18:21a. Statement of Chief Justice Roy Moore On August 21, 2003, we were witness to one of the most historic speeches ever given on the soil of the United States of America. Judge Roy Moore defended his duty as Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice on the steps of the court building where the monument of the Ten Commandments still stands. Judge Moore made an Elijah call that caused all of us to stop wavering between two opinions. His bravery under fire and his courage in the face of multitudinous national media is an example to all. He made a clear trumpet sound in defense of the faith Let
me begin by stating that: Pro-Lifers
Find Inspiration in Justice Moore's Arguments (CNSNews.com) - Pro-life activists appear to be taking a cue from "Ten Commandments" judge Roy Moore: "No longer do we hold [the federal courts'] decisions binding upon us, upon our children, or upon our nation," said the Rev. Flip Benham, Director of Operation Rescue/Operation Save America. "The second American Revolution begins!" Benham said in a press release issued after Moore, the chief justice of the Alabama Supreme Court, said he would continue to defy a federal court order telling him to remove a Ten Commandments monument from Alabama's judicial building. In a speech on Thursday, Moore argued that blind obedience to "this so-called rule of law" would have allowed slavery to continue. Speaking on NBC's Today show Friday morning, Justice Moore said he does believe in the justice system and he does believe people should obey the higher court -- "except when that higher court is not going by law. That makes them lawless. And they're not following the rule of the law. The law, clearly, is the Constitution of the United States, the First Amendment, and the Preamble; and the Constitution of Alabama, both of which acknowledge God. "We're in a situation in this country where judges are telling us what to think and who to believe in and they simply can't do that," he said. "The judicial system in America has trampled true justice and nullified genuine liberty," Benham agreed. Benham said federal judge Myron Thompson "is in contempt of the court which is truly supreme -- the Court of Almighty God." In his statement, Benham criticized the U.S Supreme Court and other federal courts for trying to "erase the name of Jesus from the hearts of our children, our schools our work places, and the public square." He said believers in Jesus Christ "will resist them." Church of the Living God, the time is now! Let us fight the battle that rages and meet it head on! See you at the gates of hell - Flip
