July 19, 2001 Memorial Service Today, July 19 over a thousand gentle Christians will gather at A. Price Woodard Park to mourn the tiny boys and girls who have been killed through abortion. They will be the voice for those who have no voice. "There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven. ...A time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn an a time to dance." Ecclesiastes 3:1,4 On Monday, these same Christians marched in a parade to celebrate life. Now they will walk in a funeral procession for the children killed in Wichita and across our land because of the sin of abortion. Our silence was bought by the blood of these innocents. Today we will weep for them and repent of our guilt. We are all guilty! The blood of these innocents is on our hands because of our apathy. It takes a village to kill a child!
