March 21, 2003 Operation Rescue to Confront the Church in Tulsa with Its Failure to Protect Unborn Children In an unprecedented move, Operation Rescue, the nation's leading pro-life activist group, will confront the Church of Jesus Christ in Tulsa, Oklahoma, over its failure to protect unborn children in the womb. Yes, in this religious epicenter of the "faith movement," pre-born children are being slaughtered by abortion with nary a discouraging word being spoken by the Church. Operation Rescue will bring the theology of the Church house and allow it to become biography in the streets of Tulsa. "We will live out the faith our Lord has placed in our hearts and lay our lives down that others might live," said Rev. Flip Benham, National Director of Operation Rescue. "Our sole desire is to bring the Church of Jesus Christ into the battle for the lives of pre-born children. We cannot sit idly by while little children die." Operation Rescue will arrive in Tulsa on Friday, March 28. Scheduled activities can be found on their web-site at operationsaveamerica.org. "Because abortion is not a political, economic, or educational issue, but rather an issue of sin, the Church is the only institution ordained by God to end it," states Rev. Benham. "Abortion will come to an end in the city of Tulsa when the Church of Jesus Christ makes up her mind that it will end, and not one second sooner!"
