Operation Rescue/Operation Save America: Giving A Voice to Terri Schiavo

Operation Rescue/Operation Save America: Giving A Voice to Terri Schiavo

“We are calling Christians to join with our Lord Jesus in giving a voice to the voiceless Terri Schiavo,” said Rev. Flip Benham, National Director of Operation Rescue/Operation Save America.

What the courts are doing to Terri is just plain murder. Murder has become the answer for everything from babies in the womb to the weak and disabled in the land of the free and the home of the brave.

Terri Schiavo, a "useless eater" in the eyes of the court, is being starved to death in Clearwater, Florida. Terri is not on any machine. She is being denied food and water. Although Terri's parents long to care for their child, the court has decided that Terri must die.

This is an abomination before Almighty God. The Church of Jesus Christ must rise up and come to Terri's aid. We must lay our lives down for our sister!

Martin Niemoeller, a witness to the Nazi holocaust, a clergyman, and a prisoner in the concentration camps during World War II, spoke these words: "The great majority of Europeans during the period of the holocaust were neither killers nor victims...most merely stood by, neither collaborating nor coming to the aid of victims. This passivity amounted to acquiescence, and the planners and executors of the "final solution" counted on the bystanders not intervening."

Will Terri be the first victim of America's "final solution" for the poor and disabled? Will we say we did not know this was happening?

We will not sit idly by and watch Terri die. We are our sister's keeper
