Concord High School to be Confronted with the Gospel of Christ

PRESS RELEASE
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

December 16, 2003

Concord High School to be Confronted with the Gospel of Christ

At Concord High School in North Carolina , a guidance counselor was suspended with pay (though subsequently reinstated) because she dared give Bible verses and counseling to a Christian student who was in conflict concerning what the Bible says about homosexuality. In light of this event, Christian pastors, laymen, businessmen, and their families are joining together at Concord High School to say, “Enough! Homosexuality is a sin that leads to the early death of those who practice it, and death to a nation that approves of that behavior.”

“Enough!” to the intimidation of Christian school teachers who dare to open the Bible to students who ask for help and hope. “ Enough!” to the illegal enforcement of banal laws (the “separation of church and state” mantra) that would keep our kids from knowing the truth about homosexuality. “Enough!” to the heavy-handed administrative censorship that intimidates, then punishes Christian teachers and students who are vocal about their faith. “Enough!” to the double standard that allows Planned Parenthood to have more of a say into the lives of our kids than we parents do. “Enough!” to the strong armed tactics that reward teachers for passing out condoms, but punish those who pass out Scripture verses.

“ENOUGH!”
