James Kopp Became What He Abhorred

"James Kopp's cold-blooded murder of abortionist Bart Slepian was and is an act of grave betrayal. Mr. Kopp has betrayed the Lord Jesus Christ, the Gospel of Christ, and the pro-life cause," said Rev. Mike Warren Director of Rescue Rochester. Warren went on, "Murder is never justifiable and Mr. Kopp became what he abhorred. A person by act of his own will choosing to end the life of another human being by an act of cruel violence."

"If Mr. Kopp is truly repentant of this betrayal and deception he will plead guilty to this act before the court, accept his punishment and then aid the authorities in arresting and prosecuting all that helped him do this dastardly deed. He then should give the authorities the names of those anti-abortionists who are poised to act as he has done," said Rev. Warren.

All the arguments concerning justification of placing a man in the cross hairs of a high powered rifle with the intent to wound not kill in order to aide the pro-life cause and to save lives of babies are not only a grave error and extremely harmful they are evidence of a soul who has not come to grips with the horrible sin he has committed.
