CHRISTIANS JAILED FOR PASSING OUT
TEN COMMANDMENTS TRACTS

Palmetto, FL - Six Christians were jailed today as they passed out Ten Commandments tracts to students on the public sidewalk outside of Palmetto High School in Palmetto, Florida. "This is what it has come to in our nation…" said Rev. Flip Benham, National Director of Operation Rescue/Operation Save America. "…God has been expelled from our public schools, banished from the public school yard, and has been replaced with metal detectors, armed police officers, drugs, condoms, and violence of unprecedented order. Today in Palmetto, Florida, God has been removed from the public sidewalk. What a travesty!"

"Our desire was simply to bring Jesus to Palmetto High School and give kids tracts of the Ten Commandments, that they might know that their only hope is in Him. We remained only on the public sidewalk and were arrested at the whim of the principle and the police department of Palmetto." said Tom McGlade, one of the six arrested.
