PAUL HILL MUST BE EXECUTED

Paul Hill premeditatedly and with malice aforethought murdered two abortion industry employees in July of 1994.  Mr. Hill has confessed his crime of killing Mr. Britton (an abortionist) and Mr. Barrett (an escort) at an abortion mill in Pensacola, FL.  He has been tried by a jury of his peers and found guilty.  He is sentenced to die by lethal injection on September 3, 2003.  “If we consider life sacred, he must be executed,” said Rev Flip Benham, National Director of Operation Rescue/Operation Save America.

“Paul Hill became the very thing he despised,” said Rev. Benham.  “He tried to solve the problem of child murder (abortion) by murdering others.  In so doing, he became a murderer himself.  His life is now required of him.  This is what God commands in His Scriptures.  Life is so sacred that if one with malice aforethought takes the life of another, he must necessarily forfeit his own.”

One man never has the authority to become judge, jury, and executioner.  It is precisely because life is sacred that God Himself instituted civil government and capital punishment, “Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made man.” Genesis 9:6.  Capital punishment was instituted to protect life.  Sound contradictory?  It isn’t - capital punishment was and is the vehicle God implemented to protect the weak from those who would murder simply because they were bigger and stronger.

“I spoke with Paul Hill in April of 1994, two months before he murdered Mr. Britton and Mr. Barrett.  I pleaded with him for the sake of his family, for the sake of pre-born children, and for the sake of the Gospel of Christ, to cease and desist from spreading the heresy of justifiable homicide as it relates to murdering abortionists.  He assured me he would never murder.  I assured him that wrong theology inevitably leads to wrong behavior.  It did.”

“We, at Operation Rescue, never allowed him a platform from which to speak.  Some speech needs to be censored!  He was excommunicated from his church.  He and his heresy were silenced.  Silenced that is, until the media poured gasoline on the flames of this heresy.  It provided him a platform from which he could spin his faulty logic.  It will do so again on September 3, 2003, as Mr. Hill’s “groupies” grasp the media spotlight and again spew their heresy of justifiable homicide.
