OPERATION RESCUE TO BRING THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST TO THE METROPOLITAN COMMUNITY CHURCH

Following Jesus' admonition that "the gates of hell" will not prevail against His Church, Christians will bring the Gospel of Christ to the largest homosexual congregation in the nation, the Cathedral of Hope in Dallas, Texas. The Cathedral of Hope is a part of a larger heretical sect called the Metropolitan Community Church.

Mel White, a vehement and false advocate for homosexual rights and a member of the Metropolitan Community Church, is leading a band of "merry men" to Pastor Jerry Falwell's Thomas Road Baptist Church in Lynchburg, VA this Sunday morning. Mr. White once worked for Pastor Falwell before he surrendered to the passions of his flesh, deserted his wife and children to live with his homosexual lover. Mr. White wants pastor Falwell to cease preaching that homosexuality is a sin and become more tolerant. It will never happen! White has promised a radical response if his efforts fail.

"Christianity and homosexuality do not go hand in hand," said the National Director of Operation Rescue, Rev. Flip Benham. "We will not sit back while enemies of the Gospel of Christ like Mel White continue to attack the veracity of the Christian faith. We must love our fellow man enough to speak the truth that sexual immorality of any type is a sin against God, one's self, and the Church of Jesus Christ."
