BPT Reports from 3rd Quarter July - September

God's Servants at the "Summit Women's Center"

BPT Reports from 3rd Quarter
from
July - September, 2002

September 28, 2002

Over fifty prolifers came out to pray and witness to the lost and needy today. There were police, no guard, no videographer for them. We had Joe on video for us and Stan G. as our valuable scribe. We had signs displayed on the street (show - don't tell) , we had prayer, praise and worship, and the Word went forth. We were blessed to have three clergy (Fr. Markey, Pastor Rob, Pastor Pedro) and three on Tuesday (Pastor Randy, Pastor Miller, Fr. Smith). When leadership is sold out to God, the followers sell out, too! We see how David motivated his leaders to give and the people rejoiced at their willing response. They gave of their treasure. Our treasure can be our time or our talent, our availability, our sacrifice of self, caring more for others.

1 Chron. 29: 5b ".... 'Now, who is willing to consecrate himself today to the LORD?' 6 Then the leaders of families, the officers of the tribes of Israel, the commanders of thousands and commanders of hundreds, and the officials in charge of the king's work gave willingly. 9 The people rejoiced at the willing response of their leaders, for they had given freely and wholeheartedly to the LORD. David the king also rejoiced greatly."

Many Pastors complain that they cannot motivate their people to action. The congregation usually will follow by their example and readiness to be inconveinenced for others. When leaders have integrity and godly character, their flock will see that and learn from it.

This precious girl was once sentenced to die here. Mom brings her baby back alive!
This precious girl was once sentenced to die. Mom brings her baby back alive!

17 "I know, my God, that you test the heart and are pleased with integrity. All these things have I given willingly and with honest intent. And now I have seen with joy how willingly Your people who are here have given to You."

A couple of side stories:

1.) One of our women who had had an abortion at the Summit confronted a "clinic counselor" about her counseling her to kill her baby. The counselor's response was to give her the middle finger. I guess when you have worked at a killing center for decades your heart becomes hard and cold. Pray for them.

2.) One of the children, Hannah, 3 years old, asked her Mom if the police were killing the babies. The Mom said no, they are killing them inside. The toddler wanted to know why we didn't go inside to get them before they get killed? (From the mouth of babes. They see better than the adults do.)

Because 50 people cared more about their neighbor than themselves, three babies are alive right now that would have been dead. THANK YOU! All of you that got up out of your warm cozy beds to save lives and souls on a Saturday! Our Lord wants pure worship, not false shows. We worship him with our prayers, being in the Word, giving of our time and talent, and our good deeds, all done unto Him. We can only give to God back what He alone has given us. Our very lives are His.

Isaiah 29:13 "The Lord says: 'These people come near to Me with their mouth and honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me. Their worship of Me is made up only of rules taught by men.'"
1 Chron. 29:14 "But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from You, and we have given You only what comes from Your hand."

ELEVEN MOMS CAME TO ABORT.
ONE CHANGED HER MIND.
TWO TURNED AWAY.

EIGHT BABIES WERE LEFT TO DIE.

Are the city workers upset that eight babies are in the garbage at 3787 Main St. today? Why not? Because they don't see them. Out of sight - out of mind. In most states where graphic signs are rare, the abortion rate is stagnant, but where the signs are used, customers are decreasing and clinics are closing. The TRUTH needs to be shown. Jesus says to bring truth into the light as He is in the light. I hope to see all of you out on the streets until the killing stops! It is getting closer. We hope soon, Bridgeport will be a safe place for babies in their mothers' wombs. Join us as we reach out to those who find themselves where they should not be!"

Thirty prolifers came out to the streets in front of the baby killing center between 6:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. There were seven college escorts, three police and a private armed guard. The CHS students came before school to pray with Pastor Randy. Pastor Miller and Fr. Smith were also there to represent the clergy. The city schoolbus goes by each morning we are there and the students still yell out the window "no more abortions!"

THIRTEEN MOMS CAME TO KILL THEIR BABIES.
TWO TURNED AWAY.
ELEVEN BABIES' LIVES WERE TAKEN AWAY TODAY
DOES ANYBODY CARE?

Amos and other prophets consistently warned the people when God was about to send judgment for the evil and corruption in the land. The Lord never judged without first raising a prophetic voice to warn. When Amos prophesied to the Gentile nations, he said surely God's wrath would fall on the heathen for killing their children and God's people were to be punished for corrupting the pure worship of the Lord.

"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world." James 1:27

There is a divine law that echoes throughout Scripture. "The greater the measure of grace, the greater the judgment." If we are given much truth, then we are more responsible. If we corrupt that truth, our judgment will increase. America was a Christian nation, founded by godly men. Now we export a gospel of prosperity and comfort. The Lord has sought to purify our nation. The trumpet is sounding, but nobody hears. Scripture says judgment begins in the house of God.

"Hear ye, and testify in the house of Jacob, ... that in the day that I shall visit the transgressions of Israel upon him I will also visit the altars of Bethel" Amos 3:13-14

All the people who turn to godless pleasures will be humbled. God's primary concern is always His church and His people - who call themselves by His name. He is the Good Shepherd who cares for His sheep. Nothing grieves the Lord more than wickedness in His church. The people that hurt Him the most are His own family. He is wounded most deeply by His children and His shepherds. He says they have polluted His altars with their false worship. The American Church has the spirit of Bethel with it's backslidden condition. It's main feature is to draw crowds - an outward show of flesh without holiness. God wants His Church sanctified with clean hands and pure hearts. (Psalm 24:3-4) Outwardly the Church appears religious and but inside are filthy rags.

There is always His holy remnant. The few who are brokenhearted and reverent before Him. The few that still weep over the sin and deception in God's house and pant after His true presence. They reach out to the poor and the needy. They preach a sin-exposing message of reproof and repentance. They forsake sin. They cleanse their hearts as they seek good and not evil. They establish judgment in the gates with all their hearts. They are judged by His Word, they confess and forsake sin and they are blessed with His discernment.

SPEAK THE TRUTH IN LOVE

Twenty-five lifesavers came out on the streets to pray today for our tiny brothers and sisters that were sentenced to die. There were two police officers plus an armed guard for the mill. Eight students with "volunteer escort" orange vests were present. They are from Wesleyan (or Yale?) . Two priests, Markey and Smith, were there to represent the clergy. The female abortionist came today.

From what I saw:
SIX MOMS CAME TO HAVE THEIR BABIES KILLED
None of us were there after 10 a.m., so I don't know if anyone changed their mind.

We have such a burden to reach out to those heading down a destructive path. We gave out literature and reasoned warnings. If they turn a deaf ear and don't want to hear, we continue to pray and trust God. We do our part and He does His. We are His vessels and He can use us any way He wants, even though sometimes we don't understand. Jesus pursues the lost.

Luke 19:10 "the Son of Man came to seek and save that which is lost."
2 Peter 3:9 Jesus "is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."

Many refused to listen to Jesus' counsel and warnings. Many feel self-sufficient with their possessions as their true security. When Jesus told the rich man:
Luke 18:22: "Sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in Heaven. Then come and follow me." The man was sad, Jesus hurt his feelings. Jesus hit a nerve and the rich man was crushed by the TRUTH. It was truth spoken in love. Jesus challenged him, he did not chase after him to soften His words or take off the sharp edges. He does not chase after people who should know better. In John 6:53 when Jesus was surrounded by many of His followers, He gave a hard message about the real price of discipleship, and they did not like it. Verse 60 says: "On hearing it, many of His disciples said, "This is a hard teaching. Who can accept it?" and in Verse 66 it goes on to say: "From this time many of His disciples turned back and no longer followed Him."

It is not easy being a true Christian. It is not easy to battle evil day in and day out. But we are not soldiers stranded behind enemy lines. We are to take refuge in Jehovah-nissi, the Lord our banner, the banner that guides the soldier. What better Commander-in-Chief could we have? ... King Jesus!

In His Service,
Marilyn Carroll

Over 30 prolifers came out to pray today. We had Pastor Randy, Father Smith and Pastor Miller to represent the clergy of our community. I thank God for them and their commitment to the lost and needy. We were blessed to have Debra with us, the pastor's wife of our new EF Church in Bridgeport. The CHS students were on site bright and early to pray before school. While they were there, they were blessed to witness one of their peers, a young lady 17, change her mind and decide to keep her baby. She said the pictures are what made her change her mind. We later took this Mom to Hopeline for further counseling. From what I saw:

Nine moms came to abort.
One changed her mind.
Three turned away.
Five babies were left to die.

Three Wesleyan students were in the private lot today and on the sidewalk with their orange "escort" vests. There was a new armed guard and three police officers on duty today. The abortionist came before ten.

"For they are stubborn rebels, They tell my prophets, "Shut up -- we don't want to hear any more of your reports!" Or they say, "Don't tell us the TRUTH; tell us nice things; tell us lies. Forget all this gloom, we've heard more than enough about your "Holy One" of Israel and all He says." Isaiah 30:9-11

Just remember - great acts of faith were seldom born out of great calculation, medical research, common sense or logic. Just look at Moses parting the Red Sea, Naaman dipping in the river, and Peter's release from prison. It wasn't a confident committee that made these things happen. It was a fearful, desperate, band of backed-into- a corner believers with no options pleading to God for help. A congregation of have-nots were never stronger with a seed of fear and an act of faith. I hope to see you all out on the streets Friday, reaching out to those who find themselves where they should not be ... we will be here until the killing stops! We look forward to the day when child killing ends in our community and in our nation.

Psalm 103:6 "The LORD works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed."

Thirty prolifers came out to pray today, mostly rosary people between 7:30 a.m. and 8 a.m. There was a scarce few for the rest of the morning. We appreciate whatever time anyone can spend on the streets to pray, read scripture or hold a sign. We know some people do have to work :-) Two Yale students were in the private lot today with orange vests that said "Escort" on them. The police and armed guard were there. The abortionist (MAB) came with his assistant before 10 A.M. Father Smith was there to represent the clergy. Carmen and Bonnie both gave rides to moms. Then Stan G. and I were there alone. From what we saw:

Seven moms came to abort.
One changed her mind.
Two turned away.
Four precious babies were left to die.

I still wonder where is the Church of Jesus Christ? Bridgeport, a city of 136,000 people and SO few seem to care or do anything. Innocent, defenseless little babies are being ripped apart and killed right in their own community. There are hundreds, maybe thousands of churches in this area. Where are the Christians and the leaders? The American Church seems to be more interested in increasing their own kingdoms than allowing the saints to fight the battle. The majority of the Church has grown fat and prosperous. Old wineskins in church buildings. Most men of God today remind me of "mute dogs" that alert no one to the enemy. They have lost the vision of Almighty God.

Satan continues to use those with intellect like the Pharisees and Sadducees. They thought they could never be at fault. They just wanted soft friendly messages with foxhole conversions. Many hide today like Nicodemus, (John 3) who came by night, in the dark, so know no one would see him. He thought Jesus was just a young "whipper snapper". Did Jesus trust him? No. Jesus rebuked him for not discerning evil deeds and loving the light. Jesus confronted evil, like with the woman at the well (John 4). What did He say to her? Go get your husband. He put her on the spot. She had had five husbands. He exposed her sin. What did Jesus say to the lame man? (John 5) Stop acting like a victim, pick up your mat and walk. And what did all the religious people say about Jesus? Nothing good can come from Galilee (John 7). Jesus said the world would hate true Christians. Why? Because the world hates Him. Why? Because He accuses it of sin and evil. (John 15). Jesus convinces the world of their guilt. He spoke a hard message. He spoke of judgment and the righteousness of God. Now the Holy Spirit does the same. Jesus showed us. (John 16)

John 3:18 "Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. 19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed."

Have we grown accustomed to legalized child killing? Are we so used to it that it that we do absolutely nothing to stop it? Don't give up now. Don't grow weary. We are on the last stretch. We are the "standard-bearers" who set the moral thermometer in our society. We don't have to go to a foreign field, we can be missionaries right here. Go the "second mile" for God. Don't get played out after the first ten yards. If we really believe abortion is murder, let's act like it. God compels us to go where we can't see the road ahead. This is all a part of having faith. If you have eyes to see -- then see! The abortion business is crumbling right before our eyes. Come out on the streets and be part of the victory.

Because He Loved,

CHS STUDENTS BACK
It was a sight for sore eyes to see the CHS school bus pull up on Main St. It just blessed us beyond words! I thank God for Pastor Randy's faithfulness to drive the students before school to pray. I thank God there are some students who care more about their neighbors than themselves and got up earlier today so they could stand in the gap for babies sentenced to die. God heard our cries, and there were definitely tears shed today for the babies.

Psalm 126:5,6 "Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy. He who goes out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with him."

According to Psalm 18, God saves us from violent men and rescues us from powerful enemies too strong for us to handle. He hears our voices and our cries, He moves Heaven and Earth to answer us as He makes our way perfect. He enables us to stand, trains our hands for battle, gives us His shield for victory and arms us with His strength. He deals with us according to our righteousness. Have we kept His ways and not done evil? If we are blameless before Him, He rewards us for our cleanness in His sight. His Word is flawless. Jesus moved in a miraculous way today. From what we saw:

Thirteen moms came at abortion time.
ONE CHANGED HER MIND. FOUR TURNED AWAY.
Eight babies were left to die an excruciating death.
But five were spared.

Psalm 118:5-9 "In my anguish I cried to the LORD, and He answered by setting me free. The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me? The LORD is with me; He is my helper. I will look in triumph on my enemies. It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man. It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in princes."

Over 30 prolifers came today to pray, counsel, pass out literature, read scripture, and hold signs. We gave out lots of literature and videos. We still could use some praise and worshippers! We could also use some scripture readers and sign holders -- almost everyone is gone by 8 a.m. I do thank God for faithful saints like Vinny, who is willing to be inconvenienced and lay down his life for others. Today we had him going from Bridgeport to Milford, back to Bridgeport to get a mattress and boxspring, then to his house for the bed frame and out to Ansonia again to deliver it. It is so hard to find those who are willing to be inconvenienced and change their schedules to do something for their neighbor. We need to risk involvement in another's need if we want to serve and honor God.

We plan to meet with some of the local pastors that came out for the solemn assembly. Three clergy were present today (Miller, Randy, Smith). We also had three police (2 officers, 1 deputy chief). The mill had their armed guard in their lot. We had post abortion counselors for after the killing took place. I just heard on the news how the names of people killed on 9/11 during terrorist attacks were going to be read tomorrow. Can you imagine if the news read the names of over 3,000+ babies daily dismembered and tortured to death at our local abortion mills? Their loss of life goes unnoticed by the media. Are they of any less value? I believe the Lord's anger burns against America just like it burned against Israel (2 Sam. 24:1). I pray the Lord would grieve (2 Sam. 24:15-16) and hold back His wrath as He sees all the calamity here. We need to REPENT AND BEG FOR HIS MERCY.

For the Least of These,
Marilyn Carroll <*)))><

September 6, 2002

Thirty prolifers came out to pray today. We offer hope to the lost and needy through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Fr. Smith and Fr. Markey were there to represent the clergy. Police and the armed guard were present. There were three Yale students for the mill on the sidewalk and in the lot. B.T. Chu,Yale Professor, blessed us with his presence. These older people in their 70's and 80's are a shining example to us! We all experience exhaustion in the battle, just like David did. But we must never give up. There can be an overwhelming desire to run and hide when we have to fight an old battle. We have been consistently out on these streets for thirteen years. Over 300 have come to know Jesus as Lord and over 1,000 babies have been spared death. That is the fruit of your labor.

"But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of Him." 2 Cori. 2:14

We can see in David's ongoing battles that God will always lead us to victory, His way. We see one of David's "mighty men" Eleazar, who stood his ground against the Philistines. "His hand grew so tired it froze to the sword." 2 Sam. 23:10

God will allow us to become exhausted and force us to receive help. We all get tired. Getting weary is no shame. That is why we continually beseech you to join us on the streets of Bridgeport. Little babies are sentenced to die every Tuesday and Friday morning (7 a.m.+) at 3787 Main Street. We need all of you - street preachers, prayer warriors, sign holders, worship leaders, counselors, etc. Those that live to serve and honor God. We need every part of the body. (1 Cori. 12:21)

We believe seven babies died, today. Post abortion counselors were there after the fact, too. I hope and pray that someday it will be safe again for babies in their mothers' wombs. God is our defender. "He is my defender; I will not be defeated." Psalm 62:6

What is God doing when we are in a bind? When the lifeboat springs a leak? I know what we are doing ... sleepless nights, sour stomachs. But God! He fights for us. He never sleeps, He steps in the ring and takes over for us. "Remain calm, the Lord will fight for you." Exodus 14:14 His job is to fight, our job is to trust, pray and wait.

For the least of These,
Marilyn Carroll

FOUR CLERGY STAND FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS IN BRIDGEPORT

Thirty prolifers came out to pray today.
THREE MOMS CAME TO ABORT.
THREE BABIES DIED.

Summer is over and schedules will soon be back to normal. We were blessed to have four clergy out on the streets today to take a public stand against child killing on 3787 Main Street. Pastor Miller, Pastor Larry, Pastor Mike and Fr. Smith blessed us with their presence and their prayers. We thank God for these faithful few men of God that take time out of their busy schedules and humble themselves in public. Social action does not hinder evangelism, it enhances it! Throughout history it is evident that when Christian leaders work together on something more than evangelism, they surprise themselves to see what they can accomplish together. Evangelicals should never ignore government injustice. Doing the "right thing" is something that must be believed, acted on, and stood for. It is a theme throughout the Bible. God used His prophet Amos:

"Let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream!"

Billy Grahm known as "the greatest evangelist of the twentieth century" was not concerned that evangelism would suffer if Christians took up bold positions for righteousness. He often uses examples, such as Christians storming evil until the foundation of the Roman Empire began to crumble. Be encouraged saints! The abortion industry in America is dying. They will reap what they sow. According to statistics there are 500 less mills and 500,000 less babies than there were in the early nineties. The presence of Christians on the streets does make a difference! We continue to pray that our Summit Center will become a birthing center instead of a killing center.

"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst to see right prevail; they shall be satisfied." Matt.5:6

Hope to see you all out on the streets as we reach out to those who find themselves where they should not be! We will be there until the killing stops!

For the Least of These,
Marilyn Carroll <///>

NINE BABIES SAVED IN AUGUST

We praise God for the faithful saints that came out to pray and be a voice for the unborn sentenced to die on 3787 Main St. Nine moms decided to keep their babies in the month of August. Today thirty-five prolifers were present at the death camp. Two Yale students were in the lot videoing and escorting clients. A man in a black SUV was taking pictures. Police and the armed guard were present. Two clergy (Fr. Markey, Fr. Smith) were there to represent the church leadership of the greater Bridgeport community. The abortionist (MAB) arrived about 9:45 am. We had post abortion counselors present for women after the abortions, too.

Eight moms came to abort.
Two turned away.
Six babies were left to die.

Mortality Higher Among Post-Abortive Women, Study Says
By David Brody, Washington, D.C., correspondent

SUMMARY: A new study shows that women that have abortions are at a much higher risk of death than women who give birth. In fact, the research shows women that have abortions were almost twice as likely to die in the following two years.

For years, the pro-abortion movement has claimed that abortion is safer than childbirth. But a new study from Dr. David Reardon, of the pro-life Elliot Institute, suggests otherwise. Reardon listed several factors that are leading to the higher death rates.

"Those who abort have greater depression, they have more psychiatric problems and more mental health disease, more substance abuse, higher suicide rates and overall higher risk of death," he said.

The study, which is published in the latest issue of the Southern Medical Journal, looked at women over an eight-year period after having an abortion. Suicide seems to be the main cause of death in the years right after an abortion, but in the later years, Reardon discovered a different reason for the deaths.

"Many of them were due to cardiovascular diseases, and there's a lot of literature showing that depression and anxiety exacerbate or create heart disease," he said. "Now we see that there's long-term cardiovascular damage associated with abortion."

Joan Maloof has seen these problems up close. She was a post-abortion counselor for years and has seen the pain these women feel after an abortion.

"It's just heartbreaking," Maloof said. "If we could just get the message out to them before they have the abortion that these are some of the risks that they face. But obviously, the people who are in the business of giving abortions are not going to warn women."

This is the second major study to link abortion to higher mortality rates. The first was a 1997 report on maternal deaths in Finland.

FOR MORE INFORMATION:
You can read more about the study online at the Elliot Institute's Web site:
www.afterabortion.org/News/deaths_smj.html

"It is a joy for the just to do justice, but destruction will come to the workers of iniquity." (Proverbs 22:15)

We are believing God to end abortion in our nation some time soon. It happens community by community as Christians come out to pray. The tide is turning. We encourage Christians to come out and read God's word on the streets. In the book of Nehemiah, Ezra the scribe was told to read the law of Moses to all the people. The reading of God's word caused the people to weep and repent as God revealed their sins and failures. We have church on the streets every Tuesday and Friday morning 7 a.m. and on.We need prayer warriors, street preachers, sign holders, counselors and literature distributors. Every person can make a difference, even if you only can come a few minutes before work.

"Nobody greaks a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." -- Edmund Burke

We had six children standing for life at the mill today. This was written by an eleven-year old boy, Joey Donovan. Sometimes children see better than adults do "out of the mouth of babes..."

"My name is - well, I don't have one because Mom killed me when I was 20 weeks old. I don't know why, maybe it's because some people say I don't exist, am not alive, or just a glob of tissue. Some say it was my mom's choice. I think it's because she couldn't "handle" me, or something. She didn't have the time, the money, or the love. I remember a person coming to her one day and saying "why don't you have an abortion? There's just a simple, harmless procedure, and it's cheap, too!" At first I didn't know what it was, but at that moment I felt scared and unsafe for some reason. My mom called some place that day, and I overheard the conversation "If you would come to the Women's Center tomorrow we can solve your problem. What was this problem? I knew my mom had a lot but I did not know that it was I. I didn't know that when she walked in that door, I would never come out. I didn't know that the way I would come out would be dead, in a regular garbage can.

So we set out one day in the car, I did not know where. We pulled into a parking lot and we got out. We heard people saying "Please don't kill your baby!" and "It will ruin your life." Now I knew where we were: the scaffold of the unborn. Mom ignored them like the lady on the phone said to do and we went in. I wiggled and squirmed saying, "Mommy! I'm here! I'm here! I'm a baby!" She signed in and sat down. I kicked and squirmed for about a couple of hours. Then her name was called out: my death sentence. We went into that anesthesia room and Mom was put to sleep, although I was awake. Little did she know that when she woke up, I would be dead.

She and I were wheeled into the butcher's shop, and I heard voices and the loud humming of the suction machine that would suck me out of my mother's womb. Then a man's voice I heard and knew the time had come. I closed my eyes and waited. Finally the suction tube, a loud whistle of death, rang in my centimeter-long ears. Big forceps almost crushed me as they yanked me out. Then the amniotic sack started to close around me, and I moved toward the tube. The last thing I heard was a voice saying, "We got it! We got it!" Then I was sucked in, my little body parts flashing through the tube in a river of young blood. Then I, the dead baby, was drained into a big jar. There I was, dismembered, torn to pieces. And then my Mom walked out of the building, without a care in the world, leaving me behind in a dumpster. I was thrown into the truck and buried in a landfill, where millions and millions of children like me rest in peace."

Matthew 5:13 "You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men. 14 You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven."

Abortion Business Crumbling

The national yearly count for abortions has dropped drastically from 1, 500,000 to 1, 000,000 in the past 20 years (C. D. C.) Pro-life brothers and sisters are making a difference. Does prolife activism work? Yes, New statistics released show 500,000 children are being saved each year. We can see the count is getting lower right here in Bridgeport, too.

"Speak Up For Those Who Cannot Speak For Themselves..." Proverb 31:8

The prayers and presence of twenty-five prolifers went up to our Lord today as a sweet savor, as we all got drenched in the pouring rain. He is there and He does hear our pleas. He wants baby killing to end just as much as we do, even more. Our job is to obey and be there. He will do the rest.

ALL THAT IS NECESSARY FOR EVIL TO TRIUMPH IS FOR GOOD MEN TO DO NOTHING" Edmond Burke

Father Smith was there to represent the clergy. We see in Malachi that the prophet rebuked the religious leaders for failing to live according to God's word. Malachi singled out the priests who had a casual attitude towards God's standards. We must not be ruled by what is convenient. Neglect and insensitivity are acts of disobedience. Jesus's return will expose and condemn those who are proud and unprepared. Ask your pastor or priest what action he is taking to stop child killing in his community?

ABORTION IS LEGAL BY PERMISSION OF THE LOCAL CHURCH. Francis Shaeffer

We believe six babies were killed today.
The Yale student was on video from inside the abortuary. The police and armed guard were present outside the killing center to make sure everyone was safe. The real violence took place inside where little baby boys and little baby girls are torn limb from limb unto death. Most of the prayer warriors came early before work between 7-8 a.m. Carmen and I stayed till 10:30 a.m. Two of the moms that had previously changed their minds came by the mill today to see us and show us their children. Brother John was here to visit from Kentucky. The next shift that ministers to the post abortive women came from 11 a.m. till 1 p.m. Stacia, & Co. offer the gospel to the lost and needy as they leave the premises. Please join us every Tuesday and Friday 7 a.m. and on ... until the killing stops.

Fifteen moms came today, from what we saw.
Two changed their minds,
three turned away.
Carmen took one of the moms to Hopeline.
TEN BABIES WERE LEFT TO DIE, WITH THE CONSENT OF THEIR MOMS. There was a woman abortionist there today.

Shame on us, again and again. America used to be the land of the free and the brave. Babies are no longer free, and people are no longer brave enough to defend them. Mothers bring their children to centers and pay money to have their sons and daughters killed. How far we have gone? Can ever get back on the right track here in America? A nation where children are no longer safe, in the womb or out of the womb.

Isaiah 66:3b - "They have chosen their own ways, and their souls delight in their abominations; 4 so I also will choose harsh treatment for them and will bring upon them what they dread.
For when I called, no one answered, when I spoke, no one listened. They did evil in My sight and chose what displeases Me." 5 Hear the word of the LORD, you who tremble at His Word: Your brothers who hate you, and exclude you because of My name, have said, 'Let the LORD be glorified, that we may see your joy!' Yet they will be put to shame."

Obedience is better than sacrifice. Almost 30 saints obeyed the Lord's call today, to rescue the innocent from slaughter. We prayed, counseled, held signs and passed out literature. It was a hot, humid and scorching morning. But I know the babies that were spared are glad someone cared enough to be there for them. There were no clergy present. The police were there and the armed guard. The Yale student was on video for them. It may sound like a lot, 30 people, but most people stop by before work and the rest are off to the side praying the rosary. We need more people to counsel and hold signs. Please join us Tuesdays and Fridays, 7 a.m. and on. Every person can make a difference!

Donna in St. Louis writes:
THE SAINTS THAT STAND ON THE FRONT LINES AT THIS ABORTION MILL ARE THE LAST LINE OF DEFENSE FOR THESE INNOCENT BABIES. WE HAVE ONLY A MATTER OF A FEW MINUTES TO PLANT SEEDS OF REDEMPTION AND TURN THEIR HEARTS TO CHRIST. IF GOD CAN USE YOU TO SAVE JUST 1 MORE BABY, WOULDN'T IT BE WORTH A FEW MINUTES OF YOUR TIME? WON'T YOU PLEASE JOIN US AT THE GATES OF HELL TO GIVE HEAVEN TO THESE LOST AND HURTING SOULS.

"Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength, because of Your enemies, that You may silence the enemy and the avenger." Psalm 8:2

Around 30 prolifers stopped by the killing center yesterday to offer their prayers for the little boys and girls that were sentenced to die. Sixteen women went into the mill. We believe twelve were planning to abort.

The other four might have gone in for other reasons. Two moms changed their minds and decided to keep their babies, and one turned away. Carmen took one of the moms home and she has an appointment with Hopeline crisis pregnancy center for Monday. Please pray for these moms and for the abortion providers. Our prayer is that they come to know Jesus in a personal way. We believe nine babies were left to die.

There was a police presence there all morning and the armed guard for the abortuary was on duty. Father Markey, Father Smith and Pastor Hawkins were there most of the morning to represent the local clergy. It is good to have a priest or pastor there at all times to help counsel the moms that are undecided. A TRUTHFUL WITNESS SAVES LIVES! By the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony we will not shrink back but overcome the enemy.

"Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. Because lawlessness is increased, most people's love will grow cold." (Matthew 24:11-12)

I hope to see some of you out on the streets where we reach out to those who find themselves where they should not be." We will be there every Tuesday and Friday morning, 7 a.m. and on ... until the killing stops.

POLICE INVESTIGATE MINOR IN MILL

Today at the Bridgeport killing center, three police officers investigated a complaint that a minor had entered the mill. Under CT State law anyone under 16 participating in sexual activity should be reported to DCF for investigation of child abuse, neglect or statuary rape. In all 50 states, sexual activity with underage children is illegal. There is a national crackdown on child predators and those who harbor them. Twenty-five lifesavers were out to pray for the unborn that were sentenced to die. From what we saw:

Ten moms came to have their children killed.
Two changed their minds and two turned away.
Six babies were left to die an excruciating death.

Ephesians 5:10-14 ... and find out what pleases the Lord. Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. But everything exposed by the light becomes visible, for it is light that makes everything visible.

Pastor Miller and Fr. Smith were there to represent the clergy. It is so important for Christian leaders to take a public stand in their community against baby killing. We see in the year 2002 there are not many prophets of God. We need solid spiritual leaders not religious corrupt ones. Our national sin stinks in the nostrils of Almighty God. Prophets such as Micah spoke out against the sins of God's people and the sins of the wicked culture. God judges sin on the whole earth. The Church is a thermometer to the world.

Micah 1:2 "Hear, O peoples, all of you, listen, O earth and all who are in it, that the Sovereign LORD may witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple. 3:8 But as for me, I am filled with power, with the Spirit of the LORD, and with justice and might, to declare to Jacob his transgression, to Israel his sin. 6:8 He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God."

We should love the unborn child as much a we love ourselves. God requires us to do justly what is right. Sometimes it may upset people and not be popular to stand for truth, but we need to love Him with all our heart and obey. Love God with all your heart, mind and strength. Give our neighbor his due. Who is your neighbor? Whoever has a need.

Matthew 25:35-46 "For I was hungry and you gave Me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited Me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit Me."
"Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You something to drink? When did we see You a stranger and invite You in, or needing clothes and clothe You? When did we see You sick or in prison and go to visit You?' The King will reply, "I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of Mine, you did for Me."
"Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from Me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave Me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave Me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite Me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe Me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after Me.'"
"They also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?' He will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for Me.'
Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life."

Are you standing in the gap? Are you speaking the truth in love? You may be the only one to shout it from the rooftop. It will make a difference for someone's eternity. Please join us.

August 2, 2002

Over 30 prolifers came out to the streets to stand against child killing in our community. We thank God for His remnant. It looked like thirteen moms came to abort and one baby was saved. Fr. Smith and Fr. Markey were there to represent the local clergy as we give a divine call to our nation to return to God's original purpose (reformation) .

Jeremiah 6:16 "This is what the LORD says: "Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls."

It is hard to believe such evil is really happening in our nation. Is it registering on our souls or have become like Israel in the Old Testament? Our bodies are here but where are our minds and hearts? Are they far from Him? It is time for reformation. God is calling us back to ancient paths before it is too late.

The American Church has surrendered it's paths to the enemy. We have forgotten who we are and what are purpose is. The moral law of God has been removed to allow evil to run ramped all around us. Just watch the news. It is enough to bring us to our knees.

We cannot serve two masters. We must be more concerned with God's righteousness than man's happiness (offending or hurt feelings). We need to stop treating Almighty God like He is our butler, at our service for every want. We can't pray His promises and forget His nature of sacrificial love. Instead of shadow boxing the church needs to really hit something. We need to commit to blood, sweat and tears until we drive the enemy out and extract the poison from of our culture. Let's do it while we still have a chance.

Acts 20:24 "However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given; the task of testifying to the gospel of God's grace."

I hope to see many of you out on the streets as we reach out to the lost and needy who find themselves where they should not be. We all have parts to play in His Master Plan. We ask you join us on Tuesday and Friday mornings 7 a.m. and on as we present the gospel on 3787 Main Street, Bridgeport. Dads, stop by before work if you can. Moms, this is a good way to train your children to seek and save the lost. Nehemiah went to the exposed areas and rebuilt the walls by family. You can help save a life and make a difference in your community. Give God a chance to show up through you - His body.

Nine babies saved in July

Twenty-five saints came out in the heat Tuesday morning to stand in the gap for their precious neighbors sentenced to die. From what we saw it looked like fourteen came to abort. One young mom did stop to talk and listen to the Lord. We brought her to the Hopeline. We will be working together with them to help this young lady with her pregnancy and her baby as the need be. Father Smith was there to represent the clergy of the greater Fairfield-Bridgeport area.

Lamentations 4:13,14 "But it happened because of the sins of her prophets and the iniquities of her priests, who shed within her the blood of the righteous. Now they grope through the streets like men who are blind. They are so defiled with blood that no one dares to touch their garments."

If and when the Church takes a stand, the Lord does show up. He is faithful, though many of us are not. A major cause of child killing in America is the silent church. America has the highest pregnancy and STD rate in the world among teens. Connecticut is the sixth highest state in the nation for abortion among girls that are 15-19 years old. The frozen chosen and pew potatoes need to wake up and thaw out if they want to change our society. All through history changes in morality came when the Church rose up to set a standard. We can win, we are the only entity with the power of the living God.

Jeremiah 1:16 "I will pronounce My judgments on My people because of their wickedness in forsaking Me, in burning incense to other gods and in worshiping what their hands have made."

Winning does matter, if we win, children will live and not die. When we woke up this morning over 3000 babies were alive in their mom's stomachs. Now just think about one of those babies. One baby, alive, a child of God swimming around full of life in its mom's stomach. By tonight that baby and 3000 more will be lying dead in a dumpster ripped apart limb by limb. If we had won this yesterday, that one baby and others would be alive. So don't way winning does not matter. There is an axiom from WW II on winning physical wars: "Wars are not won by dying for your country, wars are won by others dying for their country." We as Christians need to realize we are in a spiritual war with an Enemy out to steal, kill and destroy. Prolifers cannot sit idly by in the stands watching this battle. Think of that one baby that was alive this morning, now think of the 3000 others. Don't listen to the media or politicians that say we can't win. JESUS SAID - THE GATES OF HELL SHALL NOT PREVAIL AGAINST MY CHURCH. We can win if we would just go to our local killing place where God has called us to stand for the innocent drawn to slaughter. Where He has called us to reach out to the those who find themselves in places they should not be.

ONE BABY BORN, TWO BABIES SPARED DEATH, FIFTEEN BABIES DIE

One of the moms had her baby 4 A.M. this morning in New Hampshire. She is planning to give him up for adoption. Carmen and I will go see them tomorrow. He is 7 lbs. 4 oz. and 20" long. She named him Nehemiah.

Over thirty-five prolifers came out to pray today at 3787 Main St. between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. Father Smith was the only clergy there today. He is eighty years old and still shows up for battle. He drives alone from Fairfield after he says mass. I thank God for the faithful ones who love their neighbors more than themselves. Love is sacrificing yourself for another person. Abortion is the opposite of love. It is sacrificing another person for yourself. Two former "deathscorts" showed up today for a half hour to check out the situation and take some photos. The Yale student was on video for them. There were police present and the mill's private armed guard. The abortionist arrived in his new red sports car before 10 a.m. Please pray for all of these people mentioned.

Numbers 10:9 "When you go into battle in your own land against an enemy who is oppressing you ... you will be remembered by the Lord your God and rescued from your enemies."

If we don't show up, we can't win. A lot of people seem to have the Genovese Syndrome. Kitty Genovese was brutally raped and murdered in NYC years ago while dozens of people ignored her cries for help. When asked why? most said they did not want to get involved -- it was none of their business. The truth is that they were cowards. We are experiencing the same thing today with the "silent church." This ugly scene is repeated 4000 times a day in abortion mills all over our nation, while spineless Christians stand behind pulpits and sit in pews defending their inaction with any excuse.

Our first spiritual response to abortion is not that we pray, but that we REPENT. When the Good Samaritan stopped to help the man in the ditch, he did not say "If I stop and help this man what will happen to me?" He said, "If I don't stop and help this man, what will happen to him!" Seventeen babies were alive and well this morning on Main Street, Bridgeport, swimming around in their mommy's wombs. Now fifteen of those are dead in a dumpsite or in a jar. I thank God for the two that were spared, but my heart aches for the fifteen that were not. I hope to see more of you out on the streets as we fulfill God's commands.

Proverbs 24:10-12 If you falter in times of trouble, how small is your strength! Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering toward slaughter. If you say, 'But we knew nothing about this, does not he who weighs the heart perceive it? Does not he who guards your life know it? Will he not repay each person according to what he has done?'"

PATRICK HENRY:
"IT CANNOT BE EMPHASIZED TOO STRONGLY OR TOO OFTEN THAT THIS GREAT NATION WAS FOUNDED, NOT BY RELIGIONISTS, BUT BY CHRISTIANS,
NOT ON RELIGIONS, BUT ON THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST. FOR THIS VERY REASON PEOPLES OF OTHER FAITHS HAVE BEEN AFFORDED ASYLUM, PROSPERITY, AND FREEDOM OF WORSHIP HERE."

"For since the world began no one has seen or heard of such a GOD as ours, who works for those who wait for him!" Isaiah 64:4

We Christians need to stop living in a peacetime mentality focusing on luxury, leisure, and pleasure. We tend to get preoccupied with our wants and desires. Peter tells us in 2 Peter 1:4 that the corruption of the world is caused by evil desires. In war time, the focus changes. Instead of producing luxury items, factories produce equipment for battle. Assembly lines that once produced luxury cars, now produce tanks. Young men who were headed for school, now go off for military training instead. Scripture tells us life is a war. Not only are we at war physically in America, but we are more importantly in a spiritual war. We have an enemy fighting for our hearts. "The Lord says: Be fair-minded. Do what is right! Help those in need of justice! Quit your evil deeds! Protect the rights of aliens and immigrants, orphans and widows: stop murdering the innocent!" Jeremiah 22:3

I hope to see you all out on the streets, especially the pastors who were at the solemn assembly and the pastor's luncheon. Now is not the time to shrink back. We need winners, not martyrs. Winning is how the killing stops! Lay people, please remind your pastors that their presence is crucial out on the streets.

"Don't forget those wonderful days when you first learned about Christ. Remember how you kept right on with the Lord even though it meant terrible suffering. Sometimes you were laughed at and beaten, and sometimes you watched and sympathized with others suffering the same things. You suffered with those thrown into jail, and you were actually joyful when all you owned was taken from you, knowing that better things were awaiting you in Heaven, things that would be yours forever. Do not let this happy trust in the Lord die away, no matter what happens. Remember your reward! You need to keep on patiently doing God's will if you want Him to do for you all that He has promised. His coming will not be delayed much longer. And those whose faith has made them good in God's sight must live by faith, trusting Him in everything. Otherwise, if they SHRINK BACK, God will have NO PLEASURE in him." Hebrews 10:32-38

A trumpet call to gather at the National event in Dallas: Pastor Daniel Thompson

"I said to the nobles, the leaders and the rest of the people. "This is great work and it is spread out: we are separated on the wall, one far from another. But wherever you are, when you hear the sound of the trumpet, come to that place, to us. Our God will fight for us!" Nehemiah 4:19-20.

This was quite a national event that took place in the city of Jerusalem. People from all over the land of Israel "rose up" from their own places and came to rebuild what was broken down and lay in ruins. Serving with a trowel in one hand and fighting with a sword in the other, they accomplished a great deal for God in a very short period of time. The walls were rebuilt, the Lord's honor recovered, the testimony restored. When speaking of the importance of the work, Nehemiah reminded the people that it was not just for the sake of the city walls that they had been called to fight. No, it was much more than that. It was for the future of their "brethren" ... sons ... daughters and wives.

In this nation, the testimony of our God concerning abortion is still broken down and lying in ruins, and there is much opposition to seeing it restored. The same anger and mocking comes from our culture, just as came from Sanballet in Nehemiah's day: "What are these feeble Jews doing? "Will they restore things by themselves?" "Will they sacrifice?", "Will they finish up in a day?" (Will they finish the work they started?), "Will they revive the stones out of the heaps of rubbish seeing they are burned? (Will the church ever be revived out of the rubbish and be used for the Glory of God?) Only we can answer these questions.

"So the wall was finished ... in fifty-two days". "And it came to pass, that when all our enemies heard thereof, and all the heathen that were about us saw these things, they were much cast down in their own eyes: for they perceived that this work was wrought of our God." Nehemiah 5:15-16.

What an incredible national event!

"But wherever you are, when you hear the sound of the trumpet" come "Our God will fight for us."

I urge all the local people not going to the national event to please cover our Bridgeport post at 3787 Main Street. We need Christians to reach out to the lost and needy who find themselves where they should not be.

For the least of These,
Marilyn Carroll
