Dr. Johnny Hunter and his wife Pat stormed the gates of hell at the Jackson Women's Health Organization (the last abortion mill in Mississippi) June 9-11, 2006, preparing the way for you and I to bring the Gospel of Christ to those same gates. Those of you who know Johnny and Pat also know that there is no more powerful voice for unborn children in America today than these two. When they arrived in Jackson, they were whisked away by Richard and Melody Miller (local leaders of Pro-Life Mississippi) to a series of meetings with black pastors. The pastors were shocked at what Johnny presented: 35% of Mississippi 's population is black, yet 85% of Mississippi's abortions are on black children.
There are no other words for this than, “Black Genocide.” The black pastors were visibly moved by God's Spirit as He spoke through His servant Johnny Hunter. There is no political solution, no educational solution, no technological solution to this atrocity – there is only Christ! If abortion is a Gospel issue, and we believe it is, then the only power on earth that can contend with this enemy – the only institution ordained by God to come against this murderous spirit – is the Church of Jesus Christ. The gates of hell have not, cannot, and never will, prevail against God's Church! The news report that aired (see below) on Channel 11 (WTOK) in Jackson, covering Johnny and Pat's sortie into Jackson Women's Health Organization (Mississippi's last abortion mill), was filed by reporter Wendy Suares. Wendy totally ignored the content of the Gospel message but was ever so quick to get a sound bite from the ACLU with all of its unfounded and outrageous claims about “blowing-up clinics.” Discredit the messenger and you don't have to deal with the message. The perception one gets from this kind of reporting is that the abortion industry is a benevolent health care provider who truly cares about the needs of its patients. Never once did Wendy mention the murderous treachery that would rip apart a child, kill the spirit of a mother and father, and bring God's wrath upon a city and a nation.
