Ken Scott is arrested
Ken Scott is arrested

OSA Denver leader, Ken Scott, was arrested this morning for going on the grounds of the University of Denver. Jo Scott said her husband had been given permission by UD president Marc Holtzman to be on university grounds, however, the president quit recently to campaign for the office of governor of Colorado. Police temporarily confiscated the abortion picture Ken carried. Due to its large size it wouldn't fit in their car trunk, so they took a photo of the poster as evidence of a crime and turned the poster over to OSA representatives. The abortion picture is evidence of a crime alright - it shows the gruesome murder of an unborn child by a person misrepresenting himself as a doctor.

Jo said she wasn't worried about Ken. “He's in an air-conditioned place and he's got a captive audience [to witness to], he'll be fine,” she said. With the temperature hitting 100 degrees in Denver today, a nice cool jail cell could hold some appeal. As of 9:00 p.m. tonight, Ken was still in jail.

Jesus loves the little children
Jesus loves the little children

Today was Jesus Loves the Little Children Day at Denver's Planned Parenthood (PP). OSA offspring were asked what they would say to moms going into an abortion clinic. The youngest ones needed help with lettering, of course, but no help with expressing their sweet thoughts. I love you, Love your baby, Jesus loves me, were some of the slogans on the signs they held. They knelt together in front of Planned Parenthood to pray for the moms. Jesus blessed their tender efforts with one confirmed baby save , (a mom came back out of PP, sat down on the curb and wept), and one probable save (a mom came back out and had escorts take her to her car).

One report coming from the 16th Street Mall group concerned a young man who had to do a college assignment on how media affects public opinion. He was a Christian and chose to photograph our baby signs to use for the assignment. This is a class of 18 to 20-year-olds. Who knows how many lives might be touched or saved by his decision!

Another member of the mall group spoke with a young woman who told him, “I feel so empty.” Tears flowed even before the conversation was fully under way. He was privileged to share the love of Jesus with her.

Mary Ellen Urmin said she and several other people including, Flip, Fr. McClosky, and Pastor Bob Enyart went to hear the new president of UD's Iliff School of Theology speak. Phillip Wogaman, Bill Clinton's former pastor at Foundry United Methodist Church, is the new president. Wogaman is pro-abortion and pro-homosexual. His subject was “Ethics and Moral Absolutes.” Flip has heard him speak several times and each time has lovingly pled with Wogaman to change his ways.

Pastor Bob asked Dr. Wogaman about the humanity of the unborn child. His answer was fuzzy and high-flown. At one point he compared an unborn child to a piano, saying we can't know how either feels.

He also said there are no absolutes in the Ten Commandments.

Proclaimers took baby signs to Denver 's Adventist Porter Hospital where abortionists Edwin O'Loughlin, who has been the main doctor for Planned Parenthood for 25 years, and Abortionist Rosewater have offices. From there they traveled to the offices of abortionists Harvey Cohen and Gail B. Womach.

Grim Reaper Honored

Dick Ulbrich with Dorothy and Mark
Dick Ulbrich with Dorothy and Mark

Richard “Dick” Ulbrich became involved in the battle to save the lives of little unborn boys and girls even before Roe v Wade was enacted. Many rescuers will remember him for the Grim Reaper costume he wore. Dick, a WWII veteran, has some excellent war stories about when he was lead bombardier on a B-24.

Flip introduced him to much applause from tonight's rally audience and read a poem Dick wrote. He was greeted by many old friends.

Dick will never give in to the baby killers. Although he must use a cane or walker now, he said he'll be back in the battle when he regains his strength. Not this year, but maybe next.

If you'd like to send him a note, you may write him at: The Argyle, 4115 W. 38 th Ave., Denver, CO 80211.
