Kirsten Breedlove was an abortion mill employee in Dallas, Texas, and worked her way up to become the Administrator of the A-Z Women's Health Clinic in Dallas. Christians who loved her as much as they loved those being led away to the slaughter were a powerful witness to her. Jesus was calling Kirsten to Himself. Here is just a glimpse of Kirsten's story from the inside of an abortion mill back out to you. More is coming! Dearest Flip, Once upon a time, I saw you as an enemy, someone who I hated to see standing on the streets of my abortion clinic. I was so young, stupid, and was taken in by the money and excitement that went with working in the abortion mill. I was 21 when I started as a nurse in the clinic, 22 when I became the administrator, and 23 when I became a Christian and began walking women out to Operation Rescue volunteers, which eventually (but quickly) caused bankruptcy to that awful place. I have since struggled (and still do at times) with the addiction that became so fierce during my time at the abortion clinic. I was numb for six years from the effects of the things I saw and participated in, in that clinic on a daily basis, (both legal and illegal). Eventually I went to prison, but it didn't matter, I was a prisoner within my own skin, trying to escape the effects of seeing thousands of babies die such a sad, gruesome death daily. I have to this day to allow myself the forgiveness that Jesus offers freely to those who will accept it. When I think of you, Mark, Rusty, Anne, Rhonda, etc., I smile now at the beauty of God's plan; how, for a season, He brings people into our lives who will forever change us. I have never forgotten the kindness of every one of the Christians instrumentally used to introduce me to a loving God, and help me make a difference, by leaving the abortion business forever and giving my life to Christ. I believe the Mark Gabriels and all the street counselors of the world have the most rewarding jobs. They're right there at the front lines of the battle, seeing and having an impact on lives. I thank God for them, for although I once hated them, I now credit them for being Jesus, in flesh and blood, for hard headed, lost souls like I once was. Thank you for all your support then and now. Thank you for caring enough to leave the 99 and go for the one lost sheep. God bless you!! Love, Kirsten Breedlove Flip's response Kirsten, May I put this up on the web? Your testimony, the truthfulness of your confession, and the humility with which you express your love for Jesus and His love for you, must be told. You write very well. I would like to put some more of your story up on the web, but that would mean that you would have to write it. Isn't that what Isaiah 61:1-4 is all about? He will comfort those who mourn, provide for those who grieve, bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of His splendor. You are for the display of our Lord's splendor. You don't belong to you anymore. You have been bought with a price, you are not your own. You belong to Him! This is real FREEDOM! I remember so well a time that you don't even know about when Mark and I came to your hospital room at Garland Community Hospital. We saw you in that dark room - all alone! We prayed that Jesus would minister His grace and mercy to you. We wanted so much just to make you better. You had overdosed and it seemed like you had given up. But Jesus held on to you and didn't let you go - thank God! Now, let's tell the world! In Christian love, Flip
