Hitting the Mark in Dallas, Texas The crowds have headed home and the excitement is over. The 2002 Operation Save America National Event has passed. Most of the participants headed back home to finish their own work, while others have remained behind. Those of us that remain sit in awe of the awesome works of God in our city of Dallas, while also in awe of the tremendous amount of work that remains. I feel especially overwhelmed because this was my first experience with Operation Save America. There was no time to test the water, so I just jumped right in! However, I was not alone. It is such an encouragement to know that most of the remaining team in Dallas is made up of young college-aged people. The leadership of OSA has done an outstanding job of equipping, motivating, and challenging all of us. Before our eyes a group of willing, yet unsure, youngsters have been transformed into a bold team that stands at the very gates of hell, preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The preparation time, and the event itself were stretching, forcing all of us to count the cost. We have all learned to ask ourselves these three questions daily: Do I love Jesus? Am I sold out for Jesus? Am I willing to die for Jesus? We realize that we have much work to do in the city of Dallas and accept the calling-knowing that it is for such a time as this that God is raising up this new generation. Missi Owen Missi, along with Amanda Yee, Brandi Chapman, and Christy Tiso were all instrumental in bringing OSA - Dallas - 2002 together. Their hard work was noticed by all involved and we appreciate them greatly. They not only worked hard, but have become my friends and a source of great encouragement to those of us who have been in this battle for years. We love you! Kristene O'Dell
