Hypocrisy
in Power Equals Tyranny "Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice in as much ye are partakers of Christ's suffering, that when His glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy." 1 Peter 4:12 This verse of Scripture was quoted in Justice Roy Moore’s no holds barred exclusive two-part interview with WorldNetDaily.com by Jim Bennett, news director for Moody Broadcasting Network's WDLM-FM, reaching the Quad Cities of Illinois and Iowa. The context was Justice Roy Moore emphatically stating, “I'll never be afraid of being criticized for standing for truth. Neither should Gen. Boykin. He's sworn to uphold the Constitution, just like I am. I applaud him. And I applaud others that stand up for the truth. And it's time that we wake up and realize that we are going to face criticism.” You can read the entire article, Roy Moore: Media 'will not print the truth' on WND.com (see the link to Part 1 in the preface). Justice Moore speaks the truth and nothing but the truth without equivocation or apology as should all Christians. Moore cites Thomas Jefferson from his "Bill For Establishing Religious Freedom" saying:
Truth will always prevail over error except in cases where Mankind enters in and squelches debate and free speech. This is why none of the print media will tell the truth on any issue choosing rather to print opinions that fit their agenda, falsely calling it journalism. The major media is now owned by a leftist corporate conglomerate that uses the axiom, ‘free speech exists for anyone who owns a printing press’ to further its Marxist futile agenda to establish a humanistic utopia apart from the God of the Bible. Only the internet and talk radio remain frontiers where debate and free speech reside which is why newspaper editors and politicians criticize internet news that disagrees with their distortion as somehow invalid because it did not filter through their editors. The Alabama Court of Judicial Inquiry, a modern day Sanhedrin that tried Justice Roy Moore for keeping his oath and refusing to obey an unlawful order to cease and desist from acknowledging God is expected to announce its decision this morning. I will comment on it later. It is vital to talk about a glaring fact that not one single newspaper in Alabama and for all intents and purposes in all of America has reported. Former Alabama Governor Fob James came out of retirement from public life to break his silence. Fob James said that he interviewed Bill Pryor extensively before appointing him to the position of State Attorney General. The single most critical question James insisted on knowing what Pryor’s stance on was, will you or will you not resist an unlawful federal court order? Pryor stated emphatically that he agreed with Gov. Fob James on issues such as the Ten Commandments and prayer in public and would resist any federal order forbidding the acknowledgment of God as an unlawful order. James specifically asked Pryor if he would defend the Governor should he need to disobey such a federal court order to which Pryor assured him he would. Because of this, the former Governor Fob James appointed Pryor as Attorney General. Bill Pryor’s actions the past 4 months have demonstrated the complete lack of principle on his part as he has practiced the exact opposite of what he told James he would not do. As Attorney General Bill Pryor has insisted on prosecuting Chief Justice Roy Moore, demanding that he be removed from office. This is the type of man that President George W. Bush has nominated to the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals and Republicans in the US Senate are demonstrating against a Democrat filibuster over. It is clear that Bill Pryor is a political animal willing to say or do just about anything he can for a job promotion except stand consistently for truth, justice and the Constitution. Conservatives, and many Christians, have defended Bill Pryor’s nomination to the federal bench and been dismayed at obstructionist Democrats blocking an up or down vote on judicial appointments. In Bill Pryor’s case these Marxist Democrats are doing the nation a favor without knowing it – at least that is not their motive. Even the world despises a hypocrite no matter what they may agree or disagree on. Senate Democrats have read Bill Pryor’s past comments regarding resistance to unlawful orders by federal judges that are obviously ruling contrary to the Constitution. They have hated Bill Pryor for this. Bill Pryor has now responded by saying that he now supports “the rule of law” and that he will enforce all federal orders. Bill Pryor wants to be appointed to a lifetime job on the federal bench so bad he is willing to prosecute and ruin the career of any Christian statesmen even though that is contrary to everything he has claimed to stand for in the past. The problem for Bill Pryor’s goal is that the Senate Democrats and a growing number Christians are recognizing his hypocrisy and treason against God’s Law and both the US Constitution and the constitution of Alabama. He’s now being opposed by Christians and the godless. If Bill Pryor as Alabama AG is willing to destroy a godly law-keeper and godly man such as Chief Justice Roy Moore today, what American or cause would Pryor not hesitate to betray an persecute tomorrow as a federal judge? The Marxists know that a traitor to the right has no qualms about betraying the left. Until Bill Pryor repents of his treasonous actions, retracts his false statements and straightens out his hypocritical position on judicial tyranny vs. the Constitution and God’s law, he must be shunned as a double-minded man wholly unfit for any public office. “A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.” James 1:8 Speaking of politicians and double-minded men, President Bush enraged sodomites by issuing a proclamation for Marriage Protection Week recently. It read in part,
This week President Bush is praising the sodomites in the heretical “Metropolitan Community Church” on their 35th anniversary as an openly homosexual “church” in a letter to sodomite activist and self-proclaimed “pastor” Troy DO. Perry. Bush states in that October 14 missive:
Please! This two-faced stance by Bush is hypocrisy on steroids that is not going unnoticed. Christians are learning about this politics as usual by Bush and are rightfully outraged – though I suspect too many are wishing it were swept under the rug. Nobody likes a hypocrite whether in the church, the world or in government. The sodomites are also confused and outraged at this latest flip-flop and sell-out by Bush. The MCC’s Perry said he was alarmed at Bush's proclamation on the website 365gay.com.
Sodomite-advocacy group, Human Rights Campaign executive director Elizabeth Birch said of Bush’s marriage protection week proclamation,
Please! Did President Bush actually think he could appease the militant sodomites by cheering the evil of their 35th anniversary of a homosexual denomination masquerading as Christian? Here is what a baffled Neil Thomas, senior “pastor” of “Metropolitan Community Church” of Los Angeles, said about the president's letter:
Ed Vitagliano, spokesman for the American Family Association, along with many Christians have the same question. Vitagliano said, "I'm disappointed, because this is politics as usual. … This is speaking out of both sides of your mouth. This is playing to two groups at the same time who are really after two different things – who uphold two completely different worldviews. The MCC is evidence of a growing apostasy within Christianity and our culture and Western civilization, and to applaud what is essentially an apostate denomination is disappointing from a Christian standpoint. It may be something we would expect from a politician but I guess there were some of us who would hope the president was not simply a politician." Unfortunately George W. Bush is just another politician as I told everyone I met and Godarchy Line reader or hearer as far back as 1999 when I saw it was clear the RNC had anointed him as the next presidential nominee. Despite believing George Bush’s profession of Christ, I could not and did not vote for him in 2000 and tried to persuade others that Bush was just another politician that would sell us out for votes and expediency. He stands by Bill Pryor and against the principled law-keeping position taken by Justice Roy Moore. How many times do Christians have to be spit on, sold out, betrayed and see our rights and Christian values eroded before they stop voting for Christian conservatives in the Republican Party? Until Christians obey God and hold these politicians accountable by withholding their vote, conservatism will have nothing to fear – that is until they stand personally before the Lord Jesus Christ. Scripture tells us in James 1 that a double-minded man will receive nothing from the Lord. It is time we in the Church in America repent of being double-minded and take our stand like Justice Roy Moore, General Boykin and others – refusing to back down from holding to Biblical principles and acknowledging the Lord Jesus Christ in all we do. Last night a freak lightening and hail storm dumped half a foot of hail and over 5 inches of rain on Los Angeles in under 2 hours knocking out electricity to over 115,000. Hint: It almost never even thunders in most of California let alone hail. What will it take for God to get your attention? A famous anonymous billboard reads: “Don’t make Me come down there.” – God
