OSA Speaks for the Defenseless as Myers Park Baptist Church

During the summer months, Myers Park Baptist opens up a “talk back” room after their morning service. This event allows the parishioners and the pastor to have a time to discuss, ask questions or testify to the effect of the morning’s sermon in an open mic forum. Surprisingly, Operation Save America was welcomed to participate. The theme of the discussion revolved around judging and abortion. Seven OSA people spoke at the microphone about the tragedy and horror of abortion. The congregation reminded OSA speakers that Jesus teaches us not to judge. Each time the OSA saints took the parishioners back to the Scriptures on judging and the the pastor would say some mystical thing about not judging and do his best to obfuscate the truth.
The Myers Park congregation was truly gracious and seemed genuinely friendly. This lost congregation was willing to listen and discuss the Truth, something that I have not seen the other congregations more aligned with our beliefs do. We pray that the scales will fall from their eyes and that soon they will be able to hear the words of Christ in the Spirit that they were intended.
