Central Abortion Mill in Wichita Closes its Doors for Good. Jesus Reigns!!
By Pastor Mark Holick

In 1991 Wichita, Kansas had three abortion mills.  Today, with the closing of Central, there is one left.

In 1991 Wesley Hospital provided resident doctors to kill unborn babies at Central abortion mill in Wichita, Kansas. Abortion was big business in the Heartland and throughout the country at that time. But, as a result of thousands of Christians living out their faith in the streets of Wichita (over 2,500 arrests) in the summer of 91, Wesley Hospital stopped supplying residents to kill children. Yes, the “Summer of Mercy” in 1991 marked the beginning of the end of the abortion holocaust in Wichita and in our nation.

That's right! Since 1991 the number of abortions performed, the number of doctors performing them, and the number of abortion mills providing this abominable service, have plummeted. Amazingly, even during the presidency of the most pro-abortion president in our nation's history, William Jefferson Clinton, the numbers (of abortions, abortionists, and abortion mills) declined steadily. This downward trend continues to this day.

Pastor's rescue at Central Abortion Mill in Wichita, Kansas. 82 pastors were arrested that warm summer day in July 1991. Why? To become living parables to Wichita and to our nation of God's love for the unborn.

Notice the three men on your left: Pastor Stephen Mashburn (keeper of the OSA website), Joseph Foreman, and Flip Benham. Pastors, “Greater love has no man than this, that he lay his life down for his friends.”

Central abortion mill has had to rely upon out of town abortionists to kill children since 1992. And, in the past few years, this once thriving killing machine has been reduced to being open one day every two weeks.  Faithful sidewalk counselors like Dixie Selnke, Donna Lippoldt, and so many others, brought Central Abortion mill to its knees. These Gospel witnesses who were so often harried by pro-aborts, police, and the courts, led many to Christ. They brought the Gospel of Christ to the gates of hell where children were saved and mothers spared.

It is important to note that Central abortion mill was the site of a 'Ministers/Pastoral Rescue' during the “Summer of Mercy,” where over 80 ministers of the Gospel of Christ were arrested.  This rescue was lead by Operation Rescue/Operation Save America's Flip Benham while he was pastoring in Dallas.  At least one child was saved at the rescue that day.  It was also possibly the largest ministerial act of ‘biblical obedience/civil disobedience' in America's history.  A continual sowing of the Gospel at the gates will bear fruit!

In January of 2006, Rev. Rusty Thomas and his family led a 'Smash the pot' prophetic word at this mill. This was the straw that broke the camel's back. Central abortion mill has closed its doors for good, because gentle Christians allowed their theology to move out from the church house and become biography in the streets. All glory be to God!

Wichita now has only one mill left – the infamous mill on Kellogg street, where George Tiller continues to kill, baptize, and incinerate God's precious pre-born children. We believe he will be the next to fall under the power of the Gospel of Christ. The gates of hell can not prevail against God's Church. They will, however, forever prevail against the Republican Party, Conservatives, and compromising Christians.

Things are Heating Up in Jackson, Mississippi!

Dr. Johnny Hunter and his wife Pat stormed the gates of hell at the Jackson Women's Health Organization (the last abortion mill in Mississippi ) June 9-11, 2006, preparing the way for you and I bring the Gospel of Christ to those same gates. Those of you who know Johnny and Pat also know that there is no more powerful voice for unborn children in America today than these two.

When they arrived in Jackson , they were whisked away by Richard and Melody Miller (local leaders of Pro-Life Mississippi) to a series of meetings with black pastors. The pastors were shocked at what Johnny presented:

  • 35% of Mississippi 's population is black, yet 85% of Mississippi's abortions are on black children.
  • 1991 was the year abortion was at its height in Mississippi (DHHS).
  • Nationwide, there are 11.8 million black children under the age of 18. If it were not for abortion there would be 21.3 million (2000 U.S. Census Data).
  • Since 1973, we have killed over 13 million black babies. The number of deaths of black persons from all other causes combined is 8 million ( U.S. Center for Disease Control).
  • Nationally, 36% of all abortions are committed on African Americans, yet they make up only 12% of America's population ( U.S. Center for Disease Control).
  • Legalized abortion kills 3,500 babies every day. 1,260 of them are black.
  • African Americans are no longer the largest minority population in the United States.

There are no other words for this than, “Black Genocide.” The black pastors were visibly moved by God's Spirit as He spoke through His servant Johnny Hunter. There is no political solution, no educational solution, no technological solution to this atrocity – there is only Christ!

If abortion is a Gospel issue, and we believe it is, then the only power on earth that can contend with this enemy – the only institution ordained by God to come against this murderous spirit – is the Church of Jesus Christ. The gates of hell have not, cannot, and never will, prevail against God's Church!

The news report that aired (see below) on Channel 11 (WTOK) in Jackson, covering Johnny and Pat's sortie into Jackson Women's Health Organization (Mississippi's last abortion mill) was filed by reporter Wendy Suares. Wendy totally ignored the content of the Gospel message but was ever so quick to get a sound bite from the ACLU with all of its unfounded and outrageous claims about “blowing-up clinics.” Discredit the messenger and you don't have to deal with the message.

The perception one gets from this report is that Jackson Women's Health Care Organization is a benevolent health care provider that lovingly ministers to the needs of its patients. Never once mentioning the murderous treachery that would rip apart a child, kill the spirit of a mother and father, and bring God's wrath upon a city and a nation. Never once mentioning “black genocide.” Here is the report:

Channel 11 (WTOK) News Report Friday, June 9, 2006, in Jackson, Mississippi

A pro-life group's plans and the future of the state's only abortion clinic are linked. "You will always be a mother, but you will be a mother of a dead child when you walk into that place," shouted Patricia Hunter, secretary-treasurer of L.E.A.R.N, outside the clinic gate Friday.

L.E.A.R.N. stands for Life Education and Resource Network. Its director, the Rev. Dr. Johnny Hunter, and his wife stood outside the state's only abortion clinic, trying to talk the women out of having abortions and the employees from performing them. " It's wrong to take money to kill little babies. That's wrong," said Dr. Hunter.

They came from North Carolina, home of the nation's largest black pro-life group. They are joining Operation Save America, focusing national efforts on the Jackson Women's Health Clinic. "The reason they're coming here is because the battle lines have been drawn right here in the state of Mississippi."

Mississippi took center stage in the abortion debate when the House passed a complete ban of abortions in March 2006. Other local pro-lifers gather at the clinic each week , "As long as we're working toward the same goal, yeah, we're with them," said Melody Miller of Pro-Life Mississippi.

But as Operation Save America turns its attention on Jackson, ACLU director Nsombi Lambright is concerned for the safety of women who seek services at the clinic. "People don't remember, but these are the same folks that used to bomb clinics in the early '90s," said Lambright. Pamphlets are going out promoting a major event here in July.

Folks from all across the country are expected here with one goal, to shut down this abortion clinic. THE ACLU and the National Organization for Women are providing support to the clinic, promoting extra security and law enforcement presence during the week-long event next month. As for the clinic's future, Lambright is optimistic.

"I think that the clinic is a very safe and healthy facility that provides a very needed service in the state of Mississippi," said Lambright. "And I believe they're doing all they can to keep their doors open."

Protesters recognize the end of the clinic won't mean an end to abortions. "That's why we want to work on the hearts and minds of those thinking about doing it," said Dr. Hunter.

Gospel Proclamation Rocks Raleigh! Prepares Way for Jackson, Mississippi

This report is from Bill and Jeanette Schultz covering our Memorial Day Weekend event at the abortion mill and home of Susan Hill in Raleigh , North Carolina.  Susan Hill is the president of the "National Women's Health Organization"(NWHO).  She owns the last remaining abortion mill in the state of Mississippi.   Our mission, to confront her and her neighborhood with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to insure that her neighbors knew what Susan does for a living. This provides her Christian neighbors with a tremendous opportunity to witness to her.

Many in the pro-life community in Raleigh were concerned about how Operation Save America might effect their good relationship with the police department. It was agreed to move to the some of the counselors across the street from the clinic, thereby out of the way of front line "spiritual warfare." Several pleas were made by the timid and the prudent not to go to Susan Hill's neighborhood with posters and signs. But God's love for Susan Hill and the children she murders compelled us.

We are called to be true witnesses: “A truthful witness saves lives, but a false witness is deceitful.” Proverbs 14:25 . It would be a false witness to Susan and to her neighbors that we not speak the truth.

AT THE RALEIGH WOMAN'S HEALTH CLINIC:

The first expected mother arrived at 6:15 a.m., with arrivals continuing though 9:15 a.m. McCoy (Susan Hill's body guard) approached one of the sidewalk counselors to boast that he had known for two weeks that Flip and OSA was coming to the clinic and would also be going to Susan's neighborhood. Shortly after Flip arrived and began to preach, multiple police cars arrived. The Gospel battle was on!

Dr. Johnny Hunter and his wife Patty arrived a bit later, and he and Flip preached the words of life. Dr. Hunter had been forewarned of black security force attitudes against saving the babies.  He repeatedly compared their actions with the days of slavery. The proud and haughty looks of this security

The proud and haughty looks of this security force, while readily apparent in the early a.m., were now visibly melted to one of shame under this barrage of truth! Dr. Hunter was touching their hard hearts.

SUSAN HILL'S NEIGHBORHOOD - "GO BACK TO YOUR TRASH AND TRAILERS"

The neighborhood where Susan Hill lives is very wealthy and very liberal. It is an historic democratic stronghold. The neighborhood is a mixture of huge gated estates and multi-million dollar homes. We split into two groups passing out posters and carrying graphic signs of aborted children.  As Susan pulled into her neighbor's driveway, two women came out of adjoining homes screaming at us to leave. “I love Susan Hill - get out of my yard - go back to your trash and trailers!” Many other neighbors expressed similar sentiments.

One fingered salutes with shouted anger were flying through the air at every intersection of this well-heeled community. Surprisingly, many took posters and some even gave us a thumbs up. Flip and Scott Heldreth took baby Malachi to visit a coffee café near Susan's hood. They returned, after some heated discussions, most happy that at least two people out of this hostile audience were considering Jesus as their Savior.

All the fears with regard to future police relationships were not only unfounded, but a higher level of respect and cooperation was established than ever before. This was all accomplished in a more aggressive (fatherly) mode of peace and compassion being demonstrated in Christian love than exhibited before in Raleigh.  Praise God!

The Gates of Hell are Awaiting us in Jackson, Mississippi, July 15-22

The way is being prepared, the battle is waxing hot, the enemy is a giant, the walls are up to the sky, the way will be rough, our companions will be few, BUT OUR GOD IS ABLE!

See you at the gates of hell in Jackson. They are coming down in Jesus' Name!
