Operation Save America Releases Press Statement Concerning Arrest of Flip Benham

In an attempt to power-up and intimidate those who desire to live out their faith in the streets, the Charlotte police arrested Reverend Flip Benham this past Saturday at the abortion mill. They gave no warning and preceded to tell us that this will be the approach they will use in the coming weeks.

The double standard has been made clear when it comes to Christians. Gay pride is highly celebrated in this city while those who would defend the innocent lives of children are looked upon as agitators. The abortion industry in Charlotte can steal signs and assault people while the police look on and do nothing. However, those who would dare to pray and offer real hope to abortion-minded mothers run the risk of being arrested on the spot.

"He who justifies the wicked, and he who condemns the just, both of them alike are an abomination to the Lord." Proverbs 17:15

On July 12-20, 2003, Christians from all across the nation will be converging on Charlotte. We will be coming to proclaim that Jesus is Lord in this city. It is imperative that the Church of Jesus Christ rise up to her high calling and defend those who cannot defend themselves. Our message will not be silenced, even if you choose to arrest us one leader at a time.

We will be on the steps of the courthouse at 9:00am.
