Terri Schiavo - the Roe v Wade of Euthanasia

PRESS CONFERENCE
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

March 31, 2005

Terri Schiavo – the Roe v Wade of Euthanasia

Christian leaders will be conducting press conferences at abortion mills across the nation memorializing the death of Terri Schiavo.

Terri's precious life was taken from her by the consent of the Church of Jesus Christ, and by the consent of the government of the United States of America,” said Reverend Flip Benham, Director of Operation Rescue/Operation Save America. “The courts of this land have become the tool, in the hands of the devil, by which the culture of death has found access. It is savaging our people.”

The United States Congress and the President are impotent in dealing with the imperial courts of America. Once again, as in Roe v. Wade, the courts of this land have become instruments which have orchestrated the murder of those in the shadows of life (the handicapped). This must not stand!

It is incumbent upon the Church of Jesus Christ to rise up and remind the courts that they are not supreme. There is a court before whom every knee shall bow, and every justice whoever wore a long black robe will confess that, “ Jesus Christ is Lord.” That time has come!

The tragic plight of Terri Schiavo was played out for the whole world to see. Her death, though orchestrated by the courts of this land, was largely the result of an apathetic, indolent, and depraved American Church. We have failed to love our neighbor as ourselves.

“Today the door has swung open wide for the murder of, not only those in the dawn of life (pre-born children), but also those in the twilight of life (the elderly), and those in the shadows of life (the handicapped), said Reverend Benham. “The weak among us now find themselves in the gravest danger that has ever existed in the history of America.”
