Wednesday evening, 8/16/06, the Florida Board of Health suspended the license of James Scott Pendergraft, the largest abortion provider in the state, for performing an illegal abortion in July of 2005. The Board of health stated, "Dr. Pendergraft demonstrated a flagrant disregard for the laws of the state of Florida and a willingness to endanger the lives and health of pregnant patients by performing third-trimester abortions." The State also closed two abortion clinics in Orlando Florida operated by Pendergraft in Orlando Florida where faithful Christians, and sidewalk counselors have “shown up” to offer help to women.

In July the abortionist performed an abortion on a 7 month pregnant woman. This is forbidden by state law unless and two licensed physicians certify it is necessary to save the life of the mother.

This is not the first tangle with the law for this killer of unborn children. In 2000 he was indicted by the Federal government for extortion in relation to a clinic he owns in Ocala Florida. He was convicted, sentenced and sent to prison but the conviction was overturned on appeal. The abortion industry has very deep pockets, and slick lawyers but sooner or later the light of truth will prevail.
