Vision for Victory has begun in St Louis!

Thursday night kicked off the Vision for Victory in St Louis, Mo. In the opening rally, Flip preached that in order for restoration to take place in America, the hearts of fathers need to be turned back to their children. It is the men of God that must rise up, fight the battles of our day and pass that heritage down to their sons. It is the men of God that must turn their hearts back to the principles our Founding Fathers fought and died for. It is the men of God who must understand that just as the heart of our Heavenly Father is broken over the sin of our nation, they too must have hearts that grieve and will walk humbly before God as repentance takes hold.

On Friday morning, close to 70 saints lived out their faith at “Hopeless” abortion mill in Highland , IL. One precious baby was saved that morning. Pastor Clenard Childress of LEARN (Life Education and Resource Network) was one who led the charge as theology became biography in the streets. Young black brothers and sisters learned to despise the shame as they stood for Jesus through the mockery of those who hate the Gospel.

Saturday morning, they will be back at the mill. That will be followed with a visit to the “Gay Pride” festivities in St Louis. Pray for them as they bring the message of Life to those who have chosen the path of death. Sunday they will speak up for King Jesus at the actual “Gay Pride” parade. We will also have a team at Atlanta's “Gay Pride” parade.

Some great folks from other cities have come to St Louis to be with the team. Among them are: Phillip Hendricks (Denver, CO), Dave Lackey (Birmingham, AL), Orin and Ardith Cooper (Chicago, IL), Bill and Harriet Ashley, and Phillip Carnnagio (Jackson, MS).

So what is the vision for victory? It is simply this: Families living out their faith in our Lord Jesus Christ in the public byways of our cities. Do you want to see our nation reclaimed for the Lord Jesus Christ? Then purpose in your heart fight the good fight. Get out of the four walls of your church and take the wonderful theology that you have learned to the very places where the battle rages. All you have to do is show up – God will do the rest!
