ALL GLORY TO GOD

ALL GLORY TO GOD
by Donna Lippoldt

Christians celebrating the closure of Central abortion mill

In 1991, many Christians in Wichita, Kansas received a “wake up call” to action. Hundreds of you came from across the country to join those of us who lived in the area to bring an end to abortion. You sacrificed time, money, energy, vacations, and jobs. Many of you came and stayed.

Remember the Pastors Rescue, where a record number, over 80 of our Spiritual Leaders took a stand for righteousness? Pastor Gene Carlson made a courageous statement pledging to stand for life, before they were all arrested and taken to jail. They sang and prayed as they were handcuffed and taken away.

You might also remember the day the police and our Mayor decided to use horses on the “saints” to push them back from the door. Hoofs raised and people trampled in the name of law and order. That was a sad day for the police officers of Wichita, Kansas. Gentle Christians were praying, singing, peacefully standing and sitting to block a woman from killing her child. On many of those days dozens of women changed their minds and their children, all these 15 years later, thank you.

At that time there were three abortion mills. Two of them were staffed by residents of Wesley Hospital. Men of God from Wichita put pressure on Wesley to stop the residents from killing children because they knew they were not covered by insurance. The “crypt” located on Market Street closed in 1993. We had a huge celebration. The Lord showed Himself mighty and his children were rejoicing in the streets.

Through the years since then Central Abortion Mill continued to limp along. Unable to find a “doctor” locally, the Central facility began to look elsewhere to find an abortionist. Kristen Neuhaus, from Topeka, Kansas, came for several years until she went bankrupt and was charged with several improprieties. Sherman Zermanski, from Kansas City, came. This man was in his 70's and sometimes walked with a walker just to get to the door. His license had been revoked twice in the state of Kansas . We called out to the women over the years to warn them. Hundreds turned away, but unfortunately for the little ones and their Mothers, many died there. This last year, Ronald Yoemans, again from Kansas City, drove down and took over.

Since 1991 there has been a constant vigil of Sidewalk Counselors at this place of death. Many sidewalk counselors have come and gone. Some went home for awhile to raise their families. It was a dirty dingy place. Sort of like the “back alley” places the pro-abortion people talk about. Dixie Selenke, along with Helen Bogard, Rene Hawkins, Paula Winters, Sharon Robinson, Mike and Bob Hagen, Jennifer Sperly, and hundreds of others, came and prayed, sang, worshipped and called out to the families to please turn away from this death camp. For many years the pro-abortion escorts were there heckling, and harassing innocent Christians trying to intimidate them into leaving. A faithful youth group from a local church came each and every week to witness God's love to them. These students, who did not have school on Fridays, came as long as that was the killing day. We ran into witches, warlocks, feminist, and many wounded women who were trying to justify their own abortions at this place.

Over the years of being at this place we thought of all the people who had come to pray, rescue, worship and plead with the Lord for the lives of the babies. Each footstep, each prayer, each sacrifice did not go unnoticed by our Lord. He gets all the glory because the Central Abortion Mill is now closed. They even had a sale to get rid of the equipment. We are rejoicing and wish to bless and thank all of you, from wherever you are from, for your sacrifice. You all have played a part in shutting down this facility. The Lord used you and He desires to use His people to carry our His Will on this earth. There might be some of you who would say, your prayers didn't matter. Try telling that to little Destiny who was saved the day of the Pastors rescue. We are all eternally grateful to everyone who obeyed the Lord and came.

I'd like to invite you, encourage you, implore you, for the sake of the children, to join us at our final abortion facility, Tiller's. We're there each and everyday of the week. Just so you know, George used to be open every Saturday, but for the last year and a half has not been open on Saturday. His numbers are down, and he has hired other abortionists to join him as he is not well. We believe in a very short time we'll be free of any abortion mill in Wichita. However, that is up to the Lord, and He is asking His people to obey Him in standing against Child Sacrifice. The little ones who are created in His Image need you.
