Thank you for your missionary endeavors and journeys. It is wonderful to see the very visible manifestation of the mighty works of Jesus being displayed in the hearts of those you visit. Welcome home. Well done. Continue the work. Fight the good fight. You all are an inspiration to us. We love you. You are the light of the world and, as such, you are enabling those in China to be the very same thing! You are also enabling those of us at home to see a portrait of God's love for all the lost souls in our world. Every time we see you we are convicted, we are blessed, we are thankful, we are wondering what would God have us be, and what would He have us do? We love you brother and are deeply thankful for you, your family, and your ministry! In Christian love, Flip Zastrow and Crew Return from the Battlefield in China Dear friends and family members who prayed for us in China; Holiness unto the Lord!
The Father used your prayer to make our missionary journey to China a success. Thank you! Our team of eleven men safely delivered over 700 pounds of Chinese study Bibles to the persecuted underground churches in China - to Inner Mongolia . We personally distributed over 50,000 Gospel tracts to previously unevangelized villages and towns in Sichuan, Yunnan, and Guizhou provinces. Guizhou is where Mrs. Jiang Zongxiu was arrested and beaten to death by the police for passing out Gospel tracts last year. Our invitation came through a ministry that has distributed over 42 million Chinese tracts in cooperation with the growing unregistered churches in China. This was my seventh trip, and I'm hoping for another one next year. Being as it is a crime to evangelize, pass out tracts, or even teach your own children any religion, it truly is miraculous how God blesses the obedient faith which loves people enough to go and share with them the best news that they have ever received in their lives. Yes, there may be as many as 100 million true Christians in China, but they have asked for help evangelizing the more than one billion unevangelized Chinese people. Although it was exciting to see God moving and blessing, my heart was broken over seeing the smoke of a thousand villages that have never heard the Gospel. Running out of tracts while seeing untold multitudes of people was and is crushing. One of our sub-teams stayed in a town that had never had foreigners there, ever! When they checked into the hotel in town they were treated like celebrities and even expected to speak to the English classes at the local school. A highlight for team members was seeing many children joyfully clutching Gospel tracts as they walked along the roads in the early mornings. The highlight for me was seeing God touch each team member at our final dinner as I pleaded with them to live missions focused lives and to try to return to China to help finish the job. Here in the West, we take it for granted that we have the rights to life, liberty, religion, free speech, and the pursuit of happiness. May we unselfishly lay down our rights, time, and resources so that everyone in the world can at least hear of how to be saved. Is God calling you to accompany me next year to China ?Or, are you being called to go sooner? Which of you are being called now to evangelize Saudi Arabia, Somalia, North Korea, or other unreached nations? "Nobody has the right to hear the Gospel twice until everyone in the world has heard it at least once." Oswald J. Smith Please keep praying for China : I am shouting MISSIONS all the way! P.S.
