Pro-life activists hold abortion memorial

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Members of Operation Save America on Friday gathered in uptown Charlotte to mark the 32nd anniversary of Roe versus Wade – the 1973 Supreme Court decision that upheld a woman's right to abortion in all 50 states.
Pro-life activists gathered at the square for a service to mourn all the children who have died as a result of abortion.
"We're here to show that we as Christians are responsible for this and that we want to be a voice for these voiceless and have a memorial service for them to let them know that their blood was not shed without care, we do care," said event organizer David Benham.
Local pastors and Crisis Pregnancy Center workers also joined in the memorial service.
