Botched Abortion in Charlotte, NC
3/23/2004
by Corianne Blotevoge

The gates of hell in Charlotte are being stormed, and the enemy does not like it! Since F.I.R.E. School of Ministry students and alumni have begun teaming up with O.S.A. here in Charlotte, we have had enough people to cover 2 of the 3 child killing centers.

Saturday, (3/21/04) at the “Family Reproductive Health” abortion mill, located at 700 Hebron St, here in Charlotte, 3 babies were saved. Sidewalk counselor Sheryl Chandler was able to speak to one young woman leaving the mill, named Xavier, who had an abortion 10 days prior and was returning because she had a fever, and was suffering from nausea. Upon testing, the workers told her that there was still “tissue” inside of her, so she was still pregnant, but that they could “take care of it” for her. She said no, and told them she was going back to her doctor for care. Sheryl exchanged information with her and gave her the number to a lawyers group so that she could sue.

Also on Saturday, (3/21/04) at “A Preferred Woman’s Health Center” located at 3220 Latrobe St, in Charlotte, 2 babies were saved, and one car turned away before pulling into the abortion mill. A young woman named Mary came out of the clinic shortly after 10:30 am visibly upset and walking slowly to her car. Moments later, a worker from the mill came out, and escorted her back in, trying to comfort her. Just after that, a fire truck and an ambulance came to the mill, and rolled the woman out on a stretcher.

Kathy Pavkovic, a sidewalk counselor, was able to give the paramedics some information to give to Mary. Later that evening, Kathy was able to contact one of the paramedics. He couldn’t give out any information as to what the woman’s condition was, but he did say, “When I went into the clinic to get the young woman out of there, I stood near the doctor, and all I could think was, I’m looking at a murderer.” People from the mill came out and watched what was going on, but after the ambulance left, they went back in and continued down the path to kill their children, regardless of the pleas of Christians for their safety, or the safety of the children in the womb.

Please pray for these 2 women, Xavier and Mary.

We also had a wonderful victory last week, when we contacted the owner of the property directly to the left of this abortion mill, and received his permission to use his land to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This allows Christians to get much closer to the mill so that our interaction with the mothers and fathers of these babies is more direct, and more fruitful.
