Department of Justice Filled with Confusion!

In regard to our upcoming FACE (Freedom of Access To Clinic Entrances) trial in Washington, D.C., God continues to fill the United States Department of Justice with confusion. The trial is set to take place December 9 - 15, 1999. However, they have been making us so many offers to settle that it really is boggling the minds of our attorneys. It is becoming increasingly obvious that the Justice Department is having much internal strife over both FACE cases. The one in Dayton ended in a mistrial because they could not even establish the fact that we were in the Dayton area during the time the alleged violations took place. This confusion could only be the direct movement of God's hand because even the most sophomoric of attorneys would have been sure to be able to identify those he wishes to prosecute.

Several of us are heading to D.C. for this most recent FACE case. We have splendid plans to allow theology to become biography in our nation's Capital, not the least of which is to confront again the apostate Pastor Philip Wogaman of the Foundry Methodist Church. He is pastor to Bill and Hillary Clinton and we have confronted him and his church with the Gospel of Jesus Christ on several occasions in the past. We will also be confronting Attorney General Janet Reno, who is spending millions of our tax dollars to prosecute and persecute gentle Christian warriors living out their faith in the streets of America at local abortion mills.

Sidewalk counseling has become a crime far more heinous in Ms. Reno's eyes than prosecuting child pornography or prosecuting those who would bring guns to school. But even in all the malevolence toward vibrant Christianity by our Justice Department, it has been unable to stop the Gospel message outside local abortion mills. The saints keep bringing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the gates of hell and those gates are not prevailing. This battle is being won by simple Christians who are learning to love not their own lives so much as to shrink from death.

Please keep us in your prayers as the Justice Department attorneys continue to offer us more and more opportunities to compromise the lives of little children our Lord has commanded us to speak for and protect. Pray that we do not give in to the temptation to bargain with an enemy that comes only to rob, kill, and destroy. This enemy, manifested in the sheer animus our Justice Department has against us, may bruise our heal, but we will most assuredly crush his hoary head in Jesus Name!

At first, the Justice Department was hopeful that it would get a national injunction on the leaders of Operation Rescue so that they would be enjoined from going near an abortion mill anywhere in the nation. All hopes of that have fallen through the large gaps of their malicious prosecution. Now they are offering to drop all claims of damages and attorneys fees and drop the national injunction, if we will simply agree not to come with in 20 feet of an abortion mill door in Washington, D.C. It makes one wonder why they brought FACE charges against these gentle lambs that became a "living parable" of God's love for preborn children during the 25th Memorial of Roe v. Wade.

We, in Operation Rescue will make no deals with an enemy intent on obliterating the Gospel message in front of child killing centers. We will build no bridge into the enemy's camp, we will only continue to storm the gates of hell! They will be lifted up that the King of Glory may enter in. Please keep us in your prayers!
