Box 2022 Melbourne, FL 32902 Another Abortionist QuitsDr. Gostal Arcelin, a resident at the University of Florida Health Science Center in Jacksonville and abortionist at Aware Woman Center for Choice in Melbourne, FL, announced that he will stop performing abortions at Melbourne's only abortion clinic as of April 1, 1996. The Announcement was made in a March 15, 1996 letter to Christians For Life, a Melbourne pro-life group that held an informational picket on March 14, 1996, at the University Medical Center where Dr. Arcelin works and in his neighborhood in Neptune Beach, FL. "We pray that Dr. Arcelin will now commit to using his God-given talents only for healing and never for killing for the rest of his young career," said Meredith Raney, a spokesman for Christians For Life. The entire text of the letter follows: Raymond Unterburger Drar Mr. Unterburger, I will no longer provide medical services at the Aware Woman Center for Choice as of April 1, 1996. Please inform your associates. Understand that I am proud of being able to provide reproductive services for women of all ages, and that my activities were known amongst my colleagues, friends, and neighbors. Please be aware that Aware Woman Center for Choice clinic and other physicians may elect to pursue anonymity for security purposes.
