Shekinah Thomas (age 14)

Ever since I was little, I have heard the message of the "Battle" that is being fought in our culture. My parents have spent many a day teaching, training and preparing me for the spiritual war that is being waged.

Some of the things that I have been involved in, include; Standing out at our local abortion mill, Planned Parenthood, holding signs, praying and hearing my Daddy preach every Wednesday morning, traveling to other cities and states, such as, Wichita, Ks to confront George Tiller and his "deathscourts" and confronting and picketing other events that Planned Parenthood hosts, such as, "Nobody's Fool".

In everything they have done, my parents have tried to raise us up in God's will for our lives. In doing so, they have made some very important decisions for our family. I will name a few; first, to faithfully read and study God's Word everyday, second, no T.V. (something I would definitely recommend) finally, they have home schooled us, which, even though I don't show it all the time, am very thankful for. They have protected us from so much, yet they have not blinded us to the evil and darkness of this world that we need to shine God's light thru.

I thank God for leading me on the straight and narrow path (which has not been easy!) with the help of my parents and family.
