I have been going to the abortion mill ever since I was in a stroller. Being down at the abortion mill has taught me many things. It has taught me how to be strong and deal with different situations like being persecuted for the Gospel. It has taught me to sacrifice my sleep and to go out early to save other's lives and witness to them about Jesus. I've learned to sacrifice my comfort to be obedient because God tells us in His Word to not stand by and let the innocent be slaughtered (Proverbs 24:11-12).

I have been going down to the clinic since I was 3 years old. Although I might have not understood at the time, I could tell that there was something wrong with this place. As my dad strolled me around I held a sign saying, "Abortion hurts Children". I believe at age 6 I understood that they were killing little babies in there, just like me.

In April of 1989, our family answered a call by Almighty God to enter the abortion battle. My husband, Tom, was arrested, along with 114 brothers and sisters, including a number of local pastors, during a "rescue" at an abortion clinic in Venice, Florida. Ever since we (Tom and I) had given our hearts and lives to the Lord, we had promised to follow Him wherever He led; however, our lives were forever changed when He began to lead us to the very gates of hell.

As a daughter of Rusty and Liz Thomas, Ministers of the Gospel we have gone through many persecutions and blessings. Here in Waco, Texas we go to an abortion mill on Wednesday mornings and pray and hold signs. We also travel through out the United States of America to preach the gospel. My dad has been arrested several times and I am proud of him, I hope to be like my dad someday.

As a homeschooler, I've had a lot of experiences on the streets. I enjoy being with my dad in the pro-life movement. I have been in the ministry since I was a baby. I have seen my dad being arrested a few times. Therefore, I am really grateful for my parent's AWESOME example.

What my experience on the streets with my family is an awesome one. I have been in the pro-life movement all my life. If I had a choice to either stay home or go out in the scorching sun or cold rain in front of an abortion clinic to save the lives of babies and save souls of mommies and daddies, I would honestly go out in front of abortion clinics.

Ever since I was little, I have heard the message of the "Battle" that is being fought in our culture. My parents have spent many a day teaching, training and preparing me for the spiritual war that is being waged.

Being raised in a Christian home with a father who was very active in the pro-life movement, the abortion issue was not just one that was merely talked about, but it was one that I was taught to stand up and fight against. Since I was a little girl I went to an abortion clinic with my parents at the end of each month, and sometimes even more. We stood in the gap for little girls and boys who couldn't speak for themselves.

When I was 16 years old, I believed that my family and I were living the good Christian life. We went to church every week, Wednesday and Sunday - never missing Sunday school. My parents raised us in a sheltered home; we were told very little about abortion. I believed it was a sin, but did not think more about it than that.
