Operation Rescue/Operation Save America will begin an incredible journey across America Tuesday, March 2, 2004 . Rev. Flip Benham, Rev. Rusty Thomas, and a team of others will begin the walk near Los Angeles, California that will span the continent and end at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, D.C. A set of broken Ten Commandments and a child murdered by abortion will lead the walk. This will be followed by a donkey with the word “Mercy” draped over its back, then a white horse with the words “King of Kings and Lord of Lords will follow.”
Our purpose: to call the Church of Jesus Christ and our nation to repentance for the shedding of innocent blood. Since Roe v. Wade, January 22, 1973, more than 45 million children have been killed in America by abortion. During this thirty-one years of unrelenting child murder, God has not been silent!
Blood is coursing down the corridors of our schools, work places, and streets with no remedy in sight. We are reaping what we have sown. The blatant advancement of the radical homosexual agenda and the fact that our nation has been brought to its knees in fear of terrorism from within and without are signs and judgments from God Himself. He is speaking loudly to America.
However, the battle over the Ten Commandments in Montgomery, Alabama; The battle for the life of Terri Schiavo in Clearwater, Florida; Mel Gibson's movie The Passion; and the rehearing of the Roe v. Wade case this March in New Orleans are more signs and judgments from God that the Second American Revolution has begun. Christ is coming out of the closet, Ten Commandments and all!
“We are here to paint a picture and turn America right side-up again in the Name of Jesus,” said Rev. Flip Benham, Director of Operation Save America. “The message will be clear. When words fail, God speaks in living parables. Which Jesus do you choose to meet? The One who comes in peace riding on a donkey who proclaims the “Day of Salvation” or the One who comes as Conqueror and Judge riding on the white horse signifying the “Day of Vengeance” of our God?
