Orlando Reports 4th Quarter

Seriously Friends,
I've been thinking about the Roe V Wade anniversary coming up on January 22 ... the start of a new year in the hellish throws of over 3 decades of& genocide against America's most helpless and innocent neighbors. Remember the woman who came to have her second abortion a few weeks ago, wearing a WITNESSING T-SHIRT with Jesus and the words "What Would Jesus Teach?" emblazoned on the front of it?!!!!! What about the young lady (a pastor's daughter) who had come for her second abortion? Both of these women said they had NO GUILT OR REMORSE about having butchered the gifts God had given them? One of the abortionists here in Orlando is a regular church goer and has attended a thriving weekly bible study for 10 years!!! Another one of the local abortionists has been seen regularly attending a mega-church geared toward "seekers".
What about the fact that churches have time for so many things (movie night, progressive dinners ... you name it), but scarce an hour a month to pray, witness, counsel or protest& at the abortion clinics where their neighbors (the ones they're supposed to LOVE) are butchered? 10,000 a year in our "family friendly city" of Orlando .
God says: & "...Since you did not hate bloodshed, bloodshed will pursue you." Ezekiel 35:6
Why doesn't the Church hate bloodshed? Why do they yawn and plan their festivals as if all was well? Why do they& tolerate evil?
What do you think about calling for a moratorium on "fluff" activities in the Church until abortion is illegal? Kind of like going into an appropriate& sober time of mourning while the babies are perishing. Imagine being in Nazi Germany ... would it have been appropriate for Christians to be having ladies teas and singalongs, golf tournaments, Christmas parties and& cookie exchanges while the Jews were being tortured, gassed, shot, experimented on and incinerated seven days a week a few miles away?& Our genocide& is BIGGER than the& holocaust, going on for a generation. Here in Orlando there are a THOUSAND churches and FOUR killing centers operating with nary a protest! Nobody protests? It's hard to believe, isn't it?
When to believe, isn't it?
When I think of all the "fluff" activities being rigorously planned and executed in the churches ... so much time, energy, resources (human and financial) WASTED. Just take a look at the Fall Festivals ... candy, games ... precious few of these events (often mistakenly called "outreaches")& involve sharing the true gospel. I'm sorry, but kids have MORE THAN ENOUGH FUN STUFF to do around Halloween. Parents will always provide their children with games and treats.& They play with Leap Pads, computer games,& watch TV and movies (some kids even have videos to watch when they DRIVE someplace!)& Do we really need to do entertain them in the church TOO?
Am I ranting? Have I gone stark raving mad?
We rec'd a flyer in the mail& from a local church that advertised: "Always serving Starbucks coffee and Krispy Kreme donuts". A friend of mine& noticed a bumper sticker that said: "Prayerfully Pro-Choice" in her church parking lot every Sunday. Does this disturb you?&

It was a call to repentance not a& fun-and-games religious& dog-and-pony show that brought sinners to their knees and brought revival into communities and& nations& AND into& the souls of men. Think of Jonathan Edward's sermon "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God"! (See http://www.jonathanedwards.com/sermons/Warnings/sinners.htmIs)& the Church's message to the world "Eat, Drink and Be Merry" "All is Well" "God has a Wonderful Plan for your Life!" or "Repent or Perish!"

Let's mourn and wail and weep and rent our garments& over the godlessness, the apathy, the lack of holiness and spiritual discipline and commitment to good works. (It seems that good works has become a four letter word) God help us, revive us!
