Operation Save America, New Orleans, 2014

The Macedonian Call, Sunday, July 20

“Now when they had gone throughout Phrygia and the region of Galatia, and were forbidden of the Holy Ghost to preach the word in Asia, After they were come to Mysia, they assayed to go into Bithynia: but the Spirit suffered them not. And they passing by Mysia came down to Troas. And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us. And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavoured to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them” (Acts 16:6-10).

Sunday marked Operation Save America’s second official day in New Orleans, Louisiana. Local churches invited OSA to minister in New Orleans and the surrounding areas. To have their invitation, covering and blessing, is a great boost to the Lord’s work against the gates of hell.

Once in a host city, OSA extends a “Macedonian Call” to other area churches. After a continental breakfast at the hotel on Sunday morning, representatives from OSA attended close to 40 church services throughout the city. They worshiped with the churches, greeted the pastors and church leadership, invited them to lunch, passed out materials that articulated the vision, and invited these congregations to our Solemn Assembly Sunday evening. Later, they gather the church contact information and give it to the local pastoral leaders to follow up after OSA has completed their mission in their city.

At the Unitarian Universalist “church” in New Orleans, Deanna Waller, Jay Rogers, Mary Claire, Ken Scott, Russell Hunter, Toby Harman and others presented the truth of the Gospel in this synagogue of Satan. As God would have it, the “church” was filled with students from a “social justice” training school. According to Rev. Flip Benham, OSA National Director, the team presented a “dynamic witness.”

During an open “meditation” time, Deanna shared the Word of the Lord. When the female “pastor” took issue, Deanna reminded her that, “It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones” (Luke 17:2). In violation of their “sacred tenants” of peace and tolerance, Deanna and others were summarily escorted out of the service.

Other saints stayed and dialoged until the conclusion of the service. It created no small stir. The “social justice” candidates ran to the Christians and asked them many questions. Our brethren gave them the reason for the hope that lies within them and defended the faith. Seeds of truth were sown. may the Lord water them in Jesus’ name.

After lunch, the saints traveled to two abortionists’ neighborhoods for public awareness campaigns. Awareness campaigns involve disseminating information to notify communities that one of their neighbors murder babies. OSA members visited Mary Gardner’s and Roshanda Dean’s home, both of the Women’s Health Care Center in New Orleans. The flyer given out in Dean’s neighborhood read in part, “Roshanda Dean is our neighbor. As Christians we are called to love her. Our actions may bring her to Jesus and eternal life. Encourage her to repent of the mass murder of the Lord’s preborn children.”

According to Cal Zastrow, the outreach at Dean’s neighborhood was “very well received.” People did not know there was an abortionist in the neighborhood yet “nobody was hostile to us.” The saints held large signs. The young people worshiped the Lord with violins and guitars. OSA members were even able to minister and pray for a few individuals. Just before they left, a representative from the sheriff’s department approached them. He mentioned that there had been five fatal shootings in the area recently and thanked OSA for caring enough to come to their troubled neighborhood.

The Campano family participated in the “awareness campaign.” As they and the Zastrow family ministered together, a group of people came out of a house and began asking questions. One of the people, a teenage boy, listened with particular interest. Frank started preaching the Gospel. Frank told the teenager that God sent them all the way from Florida and Michigan to minister the Good News. The Holy Spirit fell on the teenager. He started weeping.

Sunday evening called for a city wide Solemn Assembly. During this evening rally at Williams Boulevard Baptist Church, Rev. Flip reminded the saints “We must first get the plank out of our own eye to see clearly to remove the specks from New Orleans.”

With a blast of the shofar (Horn) the meeting was called to order. The saints of God reported for inspection before the Holy One of Israel. The divine purpose was to take ownership for our personal, church, and national sins. Rev. Rusty Lee Thomas led the way to deal with the personal sins of those present. The Scripture read to prepare the way was taken from Psalm 139:23, 24, which states, “Search me, O God, and know my heart;Try me, and know my anxieties; And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.”

The penetrating questions presented to those gathered to prayer was, “What are we saying, doing, thinking, or acting that is contributing to the moral corruption and demise of our nation? What besetting sins do we struggle with that impedes the much needed awakening and revival our nation desperately needs?”

Bishop Otis Kenner followed up on personal sins. He went after the spiritual strongholds of the saints these sins opened to defeat them in their obedience to God. Ghet Gallagher, Dr. Byron Clay and the nephew of Martin Luther King Jr. addressed the sins of the church. The call was to repent of our apathy, indolence, and indifference in a time of great injustice. The church has failed to be the salt and light that is suppose to check the spread of moral decay that invokes God’s judgment upon our nation.

Finally, Pastor Rod Aguillard, his son Steven, and our host pastor, Tim Williams concluded the Solemn Assembly with our national sins. Pastor Rod declared that the walls of America are down in America, God’s hand of protection has been removed, and our nation is swiftly heading towards great calamity. He exhorted us to repent and rebuild the wall by prayer and action.

Our host pastor, Tim Williams, led us to our knees to humble ourselves before the Lord. He called us to repent of pride, arrogance, and haughtiness. Our nation glories in its shame and boasts in its abominations.

Our Solemn Assemblies sets the right spiritual tone for the entire week of Gospel outreaches. Bishop Kenner who helped to lead in prayer told Rev. Rusty Lee Thomas today, “I went home and I could not sleep. My heart burned within me!” Coincidentally, that was an answer to a prayer as the saints marched into New Orleans, “May our hearts once again burn with the revelation of God.”

Today Bishop Kenner joined with the saints as we took the Gospel of the Kingdom to the streets of New Orleans to defeat the culture of death in Jesus’ name!

Call from Rusty to join us at our National Event in “The Battle for New Orleans,” July 19-26, 2014, and beyond that to Jackson, Mississippi, July 27-28, and beyond that to “American Chronicles 7:14.”

Hope to see you all in New Orleans as we bring the Gospel of Christ to the very gates of hell. ~ Flip

Dear Champion of the Lord and the Preborn,

As we press on in the vision of our national event in New Orleans and American Chronicles 7:14, each day I search for Biblical and historical prayers to help equip the saints participating in the mission. You can find them on our facebook page.

Three Dates to Mark
Starting July 14-16 are three days set apart for prayer and fasting. The goal is to prepare the way of the Lord in New Orleans. We are praying for a double portion. When OSA came to New Orleans in 1995, there were 8 death camps defiling their land. Today, they are down to one in the city and another one in Metairie just outside of New Orleans. We have some unfinished Kingdom business to complete as we seek the Lord to uproot and overthrow these altars of Moloch.

July 19-26, OSA’s national event in OSA New Orleans. If you cannot make it, please pray for those who will participate in making New Orleans abortion free in Jesus’ name!

July 14 also commences the American Chronicles 7:14 national prayer movement. It ends November 4 at the midterm elections. Each day at 7:14 AM and PM, Christians are called to stop what they are doing to pray for America, the church, and the lost with a special emphasis on deliverance from evil.

Psalms 85:4-7 states, “Restore us, O God of our salvation, And cause Your anger toward us to cease. Will You be angry with us forever? Will You prolong Your anger to all generations? Will You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You? Show us Your mercy, Lord and grant us Your salvation.”

This passage of Scripture has been one of my pleas towards God on the behalf of our crooked and perverse nation. Our Founding Fathers spoke of Heaven’s smile upon America. Clearly, our abominations have wiped that smile from His face. Though God is slow to anger, His anger is a clear and present danger to our future and hope. The Psalmist wrestles with this aspect and cries out to God to remember mercy in the midst of His judgments. I believe we should do the same.

We have established our American Chronicles 7:14 Facebook Page. Press on this link to like and share with others. More folks are joining this national prayer movement and we are hearing great testimonies of Christians experiencing the tangible presence of God and overcoming temptations that had easily beset them.

Please pass this vision and mission on in your sphere of influence. Thanks!

American Chronicles 7:14

“If my people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sins and heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14).

Recently, Governor Bobby Jindal of Louisiana signed HB 388. The law has the potential to shut down three of Louisiana’s five remaining abortion clinics. It may even have a negative impact upon Planned Parenthood’s proposed mega center currently under construction.

Providentially, Operation Save America is gearing up for its national event in New Orleans, Louisiana from July 19-26, 2014. Committed Christians throughout America will join with area churches in New Orleans. The three clinics in question just happen to be the ones OSA will visit with the love and truth of Christ.

OSA, through national membership and in partnership with area churches, offers the Gospel, pregnancy counseling, support, and transitional assistance to women in crisis. When OSA first visited New Orleans in 1995, the city housed eight abortion clinics. Today there is one.

To help prepare the way, OSA is calling for three days of fasting and prayer (July 14-16, 2014). At the same time, OSA is seeking to commence a national prayer movement called American Chronicles 7:14. Beginning July 14, 2014 (7-14-14), Christians everywhere are asked to stop and pray for America twice a day (7:14 in the morning and/or 7:14 in the evening). This national prayer movement is set to continue through the midterm elections, which ends November 4, 2014. OSA’s goal is to inspire Christians with a common vision of restoring our country through meeting the righteous requirements set forth in 2 Chronicles 7:14.

Rev. Rusty Lee Thomas, Assistant to the Director of OSA, is helping to spearhead the New Orleans outreach. According to Thomas, “The great need of the hour is for multitudes with broken and contrite hearts to seek God to deliver our nation from evil. We love our nation and pray that we will return to the God of the Bible, who alone can hear from heaven, forgive our sins, and heal our broken, wounded land. Offering life and hope at abortion clinics is merely our prayers of repentance in action. Together, the church can make a difference.”

HOWDY From Texas, dear brother Flip!

I have done some more writing, and you can pass on if you like, or just read and enjoy/critique as you see fit.  Now that I know that you send a lot of my emails along, I have learned to properly edit and make sure it is fit for the world to read.

Here you have it:

1 Timothy 1:18-19 “Timothy, my son, I am giving you this instruction in keeping with the prophecies previously made about you, so that by them you may strongly engage in battle, having faith and a good conscience. Some have rejected these and have suffered the shipwreck of their faith.”

The image of this passage of scripture in my Bible is forever burned into my memory. I can go right to it on the page and know where it is.  Paul’s letters to Timothy are some of my favorite passages in scripture.  Additionally, I have an affinity for ships, sailing, the sea, etc…

When I was in high school, I graduated valedictorian and had to give a speech at commencement. In the speech I quoted a paragraph of a poem by Ella Wheeler Wilcox entitled “The Winds of Fate.”

One ship drives east and another drives west
With the selfsame winds that blow.
‘Tis the set of the sails,
And Not the gales,
That tell us the way to go.

Perhaps it was because my grandfather was a sailor in the US Navy, or perhaps it is simply that ships and sails themselves are an incredible feat of engineering.  They are also living proof that with proper skills, teamwork, leadership, and equipment, an enormous vessel can be navigated effectively and with a purpose.

When I was a younger Christian, I focused strongly on the call to engage in battle by Paul to Timothy from this passage, but lately I have focused on the latter part of the passage: “Some have rejected these and have suffered the shipwreck of their faith.”

What a powerful imagery for us to envision as Paul tried to disciple his brother in Christ. Even in the days shortly after Jesus ascended into Heaven, people could associate both the majesty and the devastation associated with a ship and it’s sails’ potential.

Today, I choose to let Christ and the Holy Spirit guide my sails so that I may be a powerful vessel used to magnify His name, and engage in the battle for the lost, for the perishing, and for the heart of nations and kings.

Lord, help me not to become complacent with the sails you have given me, and help me to pay close heed to the ranking order of the ship on which You have placed me. Give the Captain and my shipmates an equally strong desire to serve You, having faith and a good conscience, and engage in this battle to WIN IT!

Love, and as always give Ms. Faye a hug for me 🙂

Michelle

In a unanimous decision, the Supreme Court of the United States of America, ruled in favor of the valiant and indefatigable pro-life sidewalk counselors who daily bring the Gospel of Christ to women in crisis pregnancy situations at abortion mills across this country.  These counselors are “living parables” of the love of Christ, Who can take what is considered to be a curse and turn it into a wonderful blessing.

In the words of the supreme Court: “In unrefuted testimony, petitioners say they have collectively persuaded hundreds of women to forgo abortions.” Then the justices, including outspoken abortion advocate Ruth Bader Ginsburg, wrote that sidewalk counselors, “believe that they can accomplish this objective only through personal, caring, consensual conversations. And for good reason: It is easier to ignore a strained voice or a waving hand than a direct greeting or an outstretched arm.”

What a Statement!

Jesus said it this way almost 2,000 years ago, “I have brought you glory on earth by completing the work You have given me to do.”  John 17:4

The Benham boys said it this way, today!

May 8, 2014

UPDATE – The Benham Brothers Have Decided To Move Forward With Flips w/o HGTV:

The brothers just posted an article on their site which states;

“…Our coach taught us to always run through first base. So when we heard that our show was being pulled, only 5 weeks into filming, we had a decision to make – “Do we continue to help these six families and finish the job, or do we simply walk away?”

The decision was pretty easy – we’re running through first base! With or without the cameras, we are fully committed to helping these six deserving families learn how to flip homes. And you know what….we’re super excited to do it!  They came to us to learn how to flip homes. Today we are on set and we are going to coach them all the way through.”

Here is Bob Unruh’s report of this incredible decision – it dissects Roe v. Wade and exposes it for the lie it really is.  In an 8-1 majority opinion the Supreme Court of the state of Alabama has just ruled that: “We … hold that the use of the word ‘child’ in the chemical-endangerment statute includes all children, born and unborn, and furthers Alabama’s policy of protecting life from the earliest stages of development,”

Our good friends, and better friends of Jesus and His precious preborn children, Chief Justice Roy Moore and Supreme Court Justice Tom Parker have penned these words that expose the utter illogic and untrue nature of the abominable Roe v. Wade decision.  Roe v. Wade is about to be turned upon its monstrous head by the truth of “Personhood” for both born and unborn.

Thank you Jesus for men of character like this who sit upon the Supreme Court of the state of Alabama!

Enjoy!
